🙏 Betsy Ross Update 🙏

Please keep little Miss Betsy Ross in your prayers today. She is heading into surgery this morning after several very hard days fighting to stay alive.

The plan right now is to remove two mammary masses, including the ulcerated mass that has been causing significant concern, and repair her inguinal hernia. Her temperature continues to remain low, but the veterinary team believes they will be able to maintain it safely during surgery.

After surgery, one of the biggest things we will need to monitor is whether Betsy is able to properly go to the bathroom on her own as her body begins recovering.

Financially, we are climbing quickly. Her current bill is already approaching $4,000, and today’s surgery estimate is an additional $2,300–$2,500.

This tiny girl has been through unimaginable neglect, but she is still fighting.

We are so grateful to every single person who has donated, shared her story, sent prayers, and followed her journey. Please continue supporting Betsy Ross as we work to get her through surgery, stabilized, into foster care, and finally on the road to recovery.

Sprout has some exciting news… he’s officially HOME! 💚

This sweet boy made the journey to us from South Texas alongside his mama and brother after the little family was found as strays. Since then, they’ve each been showered with love, care, and the chance for a fresh start.

Recently, Sprout’s mama and brother found their forever homes—and now it’s Sprout’s turn! He has officially headed home with his new mama, and we couldn’t be happier for them both.

Seeing this little family’s journey come full circle—from being found together to each finding loving homes of their own—is the kind of happy ending we never get tired of. 🥹

🖤 Meet Jessie 🖤

Equal parts cuddle bug, water baby, tiny athlete, and professional kid supervisor.

Jessie is a 3 month old black Lab puppy with floppy ears, happy tail wags, and the kind of face that says, “I definitely just stole the ball and I’m not giving it back.”

And honestly? She’s thriving.

🐾 Loves kids
🐾 Dog friendly
🐾 Water enthusiast
🐾 Tug-of-war champion
🐾 Ball chaser extraordinaire
🐾 Snuggle expert
🐾 Already walking great on leash for her age

She’s currently working on crate training and while she does protest her tiny bedtime jail sentence at first, she settles in and sleeps well after potty breaks. Jessie is also doing great with potty training, but remember… she’s still a baby learning the ropes.

Basically, Jessie is everything people love about Labs:
funny, loyal, goofy, loving, smart, and always ready for the next adventure.

One minute she’s zooming through the yard like she’s training for the Puppy Olympics… the next she’s curled up beside you snoring like she pays bills in the house.

She’s the good kind of chaos. ❤️

💔 Betsy Ross Update 💔

Betsy is still fighting, and we wanted to give everyone a little update on where things currently stand.

The good news is that her blood work has finally returned back to normal levels, which is a huge step forward after how critical she was when she arrived. Right now, one of the biggest concerns is that she is still struggling to consistently regulate her body temperature and she is not eating well on her own yet.

The veterinary team is working hard to get her stable enough to safely undergo surgery. As many of you know, Betsy is dealing with a severe inguinal hernia involving her bladder, along with multiple other layers of medical neglect that her tiny body has been trying to survive through for far too long.

At this point, her medical bill has already climbed past $4,000, and that does NOT yet include the surgery she still needs. We are currently waiting on an updated estimate.

Please continue donating, sharing, and cheering this little girl on. She has been through unimaginable suffering, but she is still here fighting.

Onyx has perfected the art of looking both adorable and slightly judgmental at the same time.

This tiny low-rider spends her days zooming around the backyard like she’s training for the Puppy Olympics and then immediately demanding cuddle time like she worked a double shift.

Happy Tails, Flynn! 🐾💜

Some dogs just have a way of finding exactly where they belong, and that was absolutely the case for Flynn.

This sweet boy came to us several months ago and headed into an incredible foster home. It didn’t take long for everyone to realize that Flynn wasn’t just visiting… he was already home. ❤️

His foster family fell completely in love with him, and honestly, who could blame them? They’ve helped him get healthy, loved him every step of the way, and made him the center of their world. Now they’ve made it official — Flynn has been adopted by the family who already adored him like their own!

And if that wasn’t sweet enough, his family was so proud and excited that they threw Flynn a big celebration party, inviting friends and family to come meet the newest official member of the crew. 🥳🐶

Flynn truly hit the jackpot with this family… but we have a feeling they’d say they’re the lucky ones too. Congratulations to Flynn and his forever family — we couldn’t be happier for all of you! 💚

💔 Tiny Body. Big Fight. 💔

We wanted to give everyone an update on little Betsy tonight.

There is some cautious good news mixed in with continued concern. Her bloodwork is looking better, which is a huge relief, but she is still struggling to maintain her body temperature consistently. Because of that, the medical team has decided to hold off on surgery until tomorrow in hopes that she becomes more stable overnight.

She is also still constipated and not eating as much today, which has everyone watching her very closely.

At this time, the kidney stones and calcification are not considered the biggest immediate concern compared to everything else her tiny body is trying to fight through right now.

This poor girl has been through so much, and her body is absolutely exhausted. But she is still here. Still fighting. Still hanging on.

We should receive another update in the morning, and we are all hoping tonight gives her little body the rest and stability it desperately needs. Please continue sending prayers, good thoughts, and support her way. ❤️

🌎 From a Drainpipe to a Second Chance 🌎

After losing their mom when she was hit by a car, these tiny puppies were left stranded inside a drainpipe, covered in fleas and trying to survive on their own. Now look at them. Safe. Growing. Loved. And officially ready to start finding forever homes. 💚

Meet the Earth Litter:

🖤 Reina – Female
🌿 Haven – Female
🏔 Canyon – Male
🌲 Brooks – Male

These little ones are expected to stay smaller-sized breeds, likely terrier/chihuahua mixes with big personalities packed into tiny bodies. 💕

Despite everything they’ve been through, these babies are playful, sweet, curious, and already showing off their little personalities. Some are adventurous, some are cautious, some are professional snugglers… and all of them are ridiculously adorable.

The flea-covered drainpipe puppies are officially thriving. Now they just need the next chapter: foster homes, adopters, and people ready to fall in love. 🐾

Honestly, rescue never slows down around here. One minute it’s “there are puppies in a pipe,” and the next minute your entire camera roll is 400 blurry puppy photos and somebody is chewing your shoelace. 😂
