We are so happy to have Miss Piper visiting us while her Mom is enjoying a vacation to Italy!!

This little lady was adopted from us last year & we jumped at the chance to have her hang out with us for the month of June!
Our favorite & most rewarding part of rescue is seeing our precious kitties after they are adopted!! We love updates & visits. 😸

If you have adopted one of our kitties... please drop a photo in the comments! ❤️

Our sweet and loving Sue Shine (Pluto) entered the gates of heaven today. She passed away in the arms of her foster Mom surrounded by love and warmth.

She was such a tiny kitten who fought so hard. This little lady was always found in the arms of her favorite humans, curled up with other kitties, or trying to keep up with the "big kits."
She will be missed forever, but will no longer have to struggle. 💔

This is the saddest and most painful side of rescue/foster. However, it was an honor to have this little baby with us & to be gifted the joy of loving her unconditionally.

Please spay & neuter.

Madonna Cake is overjoyed with her new foster kittens!! 😍

Madonna never had kittens of her own, but she absolutely adores babies! She helped her sister raise her litter and now she takes all of the littles under her paw. 🐾

This shy girl really shines when their are wee ones running around... she plays & snuggles with them all day. She is very attentive & is always near.

A HUGE shout out to our doting cat foster Mama!!! ❤️

Kenny Rogers (black) & Penny Glimmer (dilute calico) are available for adoption through Cozy Cats n Kittens Rescue 😸

The number one question we get is "How can I get feral/outside cats fixed that I am feeding?" Here are some options in our Southern Tier area. These veterinarians also treat owned cats.

I am urgently looking for a nursing Mama that will possibly take 4 - 1 week old kittens as her own. Mama cat has abandoned them.

I will gladly take the kittens back in 3-4 weeks once they can eat wet food.

*I am not seeking a bottle feeder*

Please contact me at 716 498 1205 (text or call).

Guess who's ready for their new homes???

Penny & Kenny are looking for forever families! 💕

These sweet kittens are available for adoption through Cozy Cats n Kittens Rescue.

They have been fostered here with our family. They run the house with all of the other cats & our 2 dogs! They are used to small children and a good bit of chaos.
Both love to play, but can get into a good cuddle session once they get tired.

*we do offer a discount for adopting 2 kittens at once!!!

~ Please message for an adoption application.

~Meet n Greets are set up after your application is approved.

Great Work!! 👍

Kitty #5000!
(Pic of him in comments, not nearly as amused as we are about his status 😆)
Our backstory:
In 2010, Dr Kim Wilson and LVT Mary Nisbet saw the need for low cost TNVR (trap-neuter/spay-vaccinate-return) services for outdoor cats in our area, and Barn Cat Outreach was born 🐱 🐱 🐱
Volunteering a couple weekends a month to the cause, they quickly realized what a HUGE need there was for these services. For many years, BCO functioned as a mobile, “MASH-style” clinic, setting up in garages, firehalls, colleges etc. A donated camper was converted into a “neuter scooter” for a few years as well 🚐 During its evolution, BCO became an official 501c3 non-profit in 2013, gained more veterinary and support staff volunteers, then pushed forward to having a brick-and-mortar facility in 2023…here we are! As a side quest, we have been able to find great indoor homes for over 200 friendly kitties as well.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone that has gotten us to this point, no matter how big or small your contribution was 🙏

Contest time!
At our next clinic, we will reach 5000 stray, abandoned and feral cats that have come through our doors for TNVR since our inception in 2010. We’ve been chipping away at the outdoor feline population on our days off from our regular jobs to get to this amazing milestone and couldn’t do it without all the support from our community and volunteers!
We are taking guesses regarding cat #5000…comment below if you think it will be male or female AND what color it is.
We will announce the winner next week…and you get a free BCO shirt!
