Sometimes you will get a horse who needs time, patience, the process may seem slow but building confidence takes time. Each new experience becomes a stepping stone to the end result. Read your horse is he ready to move on, if is he still tense when adding new things the answer is No. Horses like Humans all have different learning styles.
