Seventy Two Equine

AQHA application for this guy has been sent in and I can’t wait to get papers on him. His pedigree is stacked!

He is by Chics Bold Rooster by Smart Chic Olena by Smart Little Lena and out of a daughter of Gallo Del Cielo!

His dam is a daughter of A Streakin Bully by A Streak Of Fling and out of a mare that goes back to Sun Frost and Dash For Cash!

After a lot of thought, I went with the name Theo which means God’s gift. As some of you know, our year with horses has been a rough one which has led to me choosing to scale back drastically so that I can simply find the joy in horses again. The timing and means of acquiring Theo definitely felt like a huge blessing so his name had to be something that would give God the glory.

I had the opportunity to get ahold of Theo’s original owner/breeder and they told me he was always such a kind horse and he has been just that! He is, and will be, my one and only project and I’m very excited to help him grown and then find him the perfect next chapter.

Who needs a bridge to add to their obstacle course?! This thing is SOLID! Very well made and sturdy. It’s about 24” wide and about 10-12’ long. First $50 takes it.

An official introduction is coming but for now….

Who can give me some name suggestions?! This gelding is the new project that will be available later this fall but I bought him on application and need some help! Comment with your ideas!

Second post to show our gratitude for Dilly! After we got her she jumped right into the family fun/chaos and took it all in stride. I forgot to say it in the first post but this mare is only 3! And here is what she has been busy with…

She has been caught by the kids (without permission), saddled incorrectly, and ridden in the wrong bridle with zero issues (see first photo), ridden by a 10 year old boy all summer, taken very good care of some beginner riders, hauled to a 2 day clinic, shown in WSCA, hit the trails and handled all the SLT’s like a champ, went swimming, and so much more. Because of her calm demeanor, she has now earned the nickname Grandma Dilly. ♥️

Dilly isn’t for sale but if you have or ever do consider buying one from us, know that they experience all of these same real life things. It’s not perfect or glamorous but it’s real life. I hope to offer some like her in the near future!

This post isn’t a training post or a sale post or an introduction post but just simply to praise an awesome horse. The morning after we brought Dilly home back in April, our daughter walked out in the early morning to show Dilly her teddy bear. I had a funny feeling that Dilly was special when she walked right over to the fence and stood there while our daughter told her all about the bear. 🥰 This video is one of my favorites but I’ll make another post with pictures of all that Dilly has done this summer!

Hey everyone! We are cutting back on a few horses and I want to offer them on here with a discount on training next year! The first one is Opal. She will be the cheapest, most beautiful roan you will ever find. She is offered at a low AP due to an injury she sustained to her knee. It was only a laceration but it will leave a scar. Anoka Equine handled everything with it and said long term issues will only be cosmetic and maybe a slightly greater chance of arthritis when she is old. Take a look at her papers! You will never fine a roan with Shining Spark, Smart Little Lena, and I Bee Worth It as low as she is offered!! She just needs someone willing to take a chance on her! Opal has been handled by kids, stands tied, and is easy to catch in a big pasture. She is also UTD on vacs, coggins, deworming, and trimming.

The next one is a yearling palomino stud c**t. He has also been handled by kids, very easy to catch, stands tied, and is UTD on all cares. He too has a set of papers that are hard to ignore! Doc Bar, Shoot Yeah and Windwalker Alive make him a great arena or all around prospect. Ducky is one of a kind and the friendliest horse on the place. He would be a great project for 4H or a young trainer that’s just starting to learn.

Video available! Please share. Discount for training will be offered for next year!
