💉 When is Our Next Vaccine Clinic? 💉

For our clinics, we are graced with access to the Alexandria Community Center on the third Wednesday of every month. When we have to cancel one, you can expect the next clinic to be on the third Wednesday of the next month unless we encounter extreme weather or staffing shortages.

Here are the following 2026 Vaccine Clinic days. If we have the opportunity to host other clinics, we will be sure to post about it.

🐾🏆 APL Has Been Nominated! We Need Your Help! 🏆🐾

We are excited to share that The Animal Protection League has been nominated for the first-ever Pet Friendly Community Choice Awards in the "Large Shelter of the Year" category!

Every day, our mighty shelter works hard to provide care, second chances, and loving homes for animals in need. From abandoned kittens and stray puppies to senior pets and animals requiring extensive medical care, we are committed to helping as many animals as possible.

One of the biggest challenges we face is keeping up with the ever-growing cost of veterinary care. Spay and neuter surgeries alone represent a significant expense, but they are also one of the most important tools we have to prevent pet overpopulation and reduce the number of homeless animals entering shelters.

That's why this opportunity is so important.

🏥 The first-place winner in our category will receive $3,000 in spay/neuter funding!

For a shelter like APL, that funding could make a tremendous difference, helping us offset medical expenses and continue providing lifesaving care to the animals who need us most.
