Today we are on Dr Crush On Mettalic β€œSugar”, a very nice 4 year old dual ender rope horse we have in training for Darin Deaton!
Today we will be discussing how to correctly Log a horse. We use a log to teach horses how to pull correctly so you have confidence, comfort, and longevity in your horses.

Happy Monday everyone! It’s a little cooler down here in Texas but looking forward to the warmer weather we will be having this week. β˜€οΈ

Please enjoy part 1 to the start of a roping series produced by Randall Trevino. He will be showing you step by step of what it takes to use and handle your rope. Later in the video series we will be looking forward to getting horseback and being able to watch and understand how to rope off of a horse with correct position, speed, and accuracy. We will be learning tips, tricks, and drills along the way that will save you lots of time and get you to your highest potential so you can focus on getting to the jackpot with winning in mind. Leddy has been in cowhorse training since her 2 year old year. She is a finished youth or non-pro ranch versatility, boxing, or BD bridle horse. She has been shown in the ORHA (Ohio Ranch Horse Association) in everything from ranch reining, boxing, and cutting to ranch riding and trail classes as well as the rein/ box classes with ARCHA (Atlantic Reined Cowhorse Association). She’s a great granddaughter of Paddy’s Irish Whiskey (PE $1,702,161), and like him she has the mind, versatility, and athleticism to continue her show career in any direction. Her consistency in and out of the show pen is unmatched, she has started roping as well and is doing amazing! She will make a phenomenal head horse! She can go in so many directions!! She will make the ideal horse for a non-pro boxer, team roper, or youth competitor.

For the best interest of our horses here at Circle P Ranch,

1.) We will be putting a hold on all haul in lessons.
2.) We will not be hauling out anywhere.
3.) Horses will not be allowed in or out no exceptions (excluding an emergency).

We want to emphasize that we do not have any sick horses or suspected cases on our property. This closure is simply part of our commitment to keeping our barn safe, healthy, and virus-free.
