EverReady Farm Show Hunter Training for Ponies & People Carol Eichner has been breaking and training ponies and horses in and around northern Virginia for 25 plus years.

She returned to teaching 20 odd years ago and loves every minute of it. Today Carol rides and teaches at multiple barns throughout Fairfax County and Loudoun County, Virginia, as well as across the river in western Maryland. Dedicated to providing fun and positive experiences for both horse and rider, Carol's goal is to help each individual fulfill their own personal potential.... and find the ride that makes them happy. EverReady Farm has become a supportive community for children, adults and families. It's much more fun when we help each other and root for each other...in the barn and in the show arena.

We are so happy and proud to announce a new partnership. Eliza “Lizzy” has found the the tall, dark and handsome man of her dreams. Meet Five-Star aka “Cinco.” Three years old Westphalian by Alissa Shackleford’s amazing stallion Alpine. We can’t thank Ashley Holsinger of Memory's Hill Stables enough for the amazing opportunity to own and develop this charming boy. He’s already part of the family. Included in comments is his first ride here in his new home..less then 24-hours after arriving.

We spent a super fun weekend at You g Pony Championships at the Virginia Horse Center. The talent level is always impressive here…and the cuteness is off the charts. Always On My Mi d”Maeve” and Kate had a great show. We saw lots of growth since her appearance her last year and excellent ribbons as well. Pippa and Rocketman did their first 2’ show courses and ribboned in both rounds. Then dear friend Amy Zettler gave “Elton” great experiences in the Adults on Ponies Division taking home the Championship out of a stellar group of ponies and pros. Plus. We got to hang with and help Sugarday Farm and Allison Wilke with her cadre of impressive young ponoes and horses. Winnie, Irelyn and Chase did a masterful job helping young ponies learn and achieve! Blessed.

Warrenton Pony Show continues to be my most favorite rated show in the region… the kids get to watch each other. A welcoming g prize list for everyone not just the “regular” divisions. Not to mention…this year’s footing is greatly improved! Even with our rainy weather.
We had wonderful learning experiences and great performances all around. Kate Hughes were not only on the winning team for the Hint and Go, they were 6th in the super fun Pony Derby. Fiona and Rocketman took Reserve in the Older Leadline. Ruby and Sinbad and Pippa and Rocketman enjoyed getting to compete over full courses in the SS and both scored top ribbons.

Folks.. the numbers were way down but the hospitality was way up! Please support this marvelous event. The Junior Committee works hard and donates to charity. There were lovely luncheons every day. A costume class and a pool noodle horse race…. And so much more fun and positivity than your standard rated event.

Loudoun Benefit Horse Show Leadline…this year TWO grands in the ring. Huge thanks to Jane Turner for letting us borrow the lovely Faircourt Icewine (Violet) for Vivian’s horse show debut. Damingo, now 28, was happy to get braided up for the occasion ..birthday girl Clara turned 5 on Sunday. Special nod to Elizabeth Heffner for the beautiful braid and lucky charms.
