Another fabulous trial weekend in the books! Thanks to everyone that made this trial a success: our wonderful competitors, volunteers, score room team, photographer, CO Jo Trent, judges Brian Jordan and Jim Altman, VCs DJ Rehberg & Candy Karsten and everyone from Daemen University. Mother Nature gets a shout out for bringing the weather, too!! I appreciate all of you for helping us get through the last 2 months of trials ❤️

Whew! We made it through Spring Trial Season, and I can’t thank all of our volunteers and trial officials enough for all of their hard work and dedication. But no worries — we’re definitely not slowing down! We have a ton of new classes, events, and trials coming up on the schedule.

Join Anne on Wednesday, June 3rd at 1pm for a CPE Trial Prep Drop-In class. This is a great opportunity to practice trial-style searches, build handling skills, and gain experience in a variety of search scenarios.

In this drop-in class dogs will be exposed to the different target odors used in CPE that many teams do not normally encounter in class. Expanding your dog’s odor library and learning how your dog responds to different scents can help build stronger, more adaptable search teams!

Whether you're preparing to trial soon or just looking for new scenting challenges, this class is a fun and valuable way to gain experience and confidence.

Getting ready for the upcoming ORT?

Join Anne on June 6th for a Mock ORT! This is a great opportunity to experience a test-like environment, practice your handling skills, and help your dog build confidence searching containers under ORT-style conditions.

Mock ORTs are perfect for teams preparing to test soon or anyone wanting valuable container search experience. We’ll work on odor recognition, start line routines, leash handling, reading your dog, and developing confidence for both ends of the leash!
