Confirmation emails have gone out for the Dunkirk NW3/L1C/L3V trials. Wait list for NW3 has been posted on our website. The L1V and L3V did not fill, so if you forgot to enter or would like to enter FEO, the links are open - get that entry in :-)

Delevan, NY NW3/L1C/L3V Updates:

The trial is still open through 12pm tomorrow (9/3) - don't forget to enter during the draw period!! If you are having technical difficulties entering during the 48-hour draw period, please email [email protected] prior to the end of the draw period.

I will do my very best to get confirmation emails out before I leave for NW camp. If you do not receive emails from us, you may want to check in if you do not receive an email.

We need volunteers! Please use the link in the Facebook comments to sign up to volunteer.

WE NEED VEHICLES FOR THE L3V!!!! If you have a passenger vehicle or a camper, trailer, tractor, golf cart, etc - please let us know!!

Thanks to everyone who attended our Dunkirk, NY trials over the weekend!! We love this location and always enjoy hosting here, we hope you enjoyed yourselves, too!

Thank you to Dunkirk Camp & Conference Center for allowing us to play at your beautiful site again this year.

Thanks to COs Lauren Walsh and Donna Hreniuk for setting fantastic hides. And thank you to Donna for becoming an official member of the Dream Team and stepping in to judge on Saturday.

We've been so busy with trial things that we forgot to remind everyone that most classes start this week!!

We have room in NW2/NW3 Trial Prep starting Tuesday 9/1 @ 10am and also Introduction to K9 Nose Work starting 9/1 @ 7:15pm. Registration can be found on the K9 Nose Work page on the Do Over Dog Training website and also in the Facebook comments. We'd love to have you join us!!

Pre-Summit Dogs were in the house today!!

Our Elite/Summit class worked on some high/low challenges earlier in the day…and let’s just say, they were CHALLENGING! So we decided to try it with the Pre-Summit dogs to see how they would do.

And they did GREAT!

What exactly are Pre-Summit Dogs, you ask?

This is our Intro to Odor class for experienced handlers with lofty goals. ;-) We’re not just teaching these teams how to search for odor—we’re laying the foundation for the skills they’ll need as they progress through the levels and, ultimately, work toward that big goal.

We’re challenging them, building independence, developing their odor skills, and preparing them for the real-world challenges they’ll encounter along the way.

And these teams are ROCKING IT!

The road to Summit is a long one, but we’re starting these dogs off with big goals and big expectations! If you'd like to join our program we have an Intro to K9 Nose Work class starting next week!!
