🐾 Meet the Team Monday! 🐾

Say hello to Amber, one of our veterinary assistants at Alburnett Veterinary Service! 💜

Amber joined our team in 2026 after previously working in veterinary medicine in Mississippi. She loves continuing to learn new techniques and grow her knowledge every day in the veterinary field.

Outside of the clinic, Amber enjoys drawing, singing, photography, thrift shopping, and spending time with her cats, Belle and Hades. 🐱

Her best pet advice:
“Diagnostics are an important part of your pet’s care because they help us understand what’s going on while also saving money in the long run.”

We’re so glad Amber is part of our team! 🐾

A few of our team members spent the morning at the Dog Jog today! 🐾

It was great seeing so many dogs, familiar faces, and community members out enjoying the day. Thank you to Tails in Transit for hosting such a fun event!

⚠️ Allergy season is here! ⚠️

We’ve been seeing more itchy pets, hot spots, and skin irritation lately. Sometimes these areas can hide under thick fur and become much worse before they’re noticed.

This patient came in itchy and uncomfortable. After clipping and cleaning the area, a hot spot was revealed underneath the coat. We also started treatment, and things are already looking much better!

If your pet is scratching, licking, chewing, or developing irritated skin, give us a call - early treatment can help keep them comfortable!

🐾 Meet the Team Monday: Isabella, CSR/VA 🐾

This week we’re excited to introduce Isabella, one of our CSR/VA team members who wears many hats here at AVS!

Isabella plays an important role in keeping things running smoothly and is often one of the first friendly faces (or voices!) our clients connect with. Whether she’s helping at the front desk or assisting in the clinic, she’s always ready to jump in wherever she’s needed to support both our team and our patients.

She loves that no two days are the same in veterinary medicine, and her flexibility and positive attitude help keep the day moving right along.

Outside of work, Isabella enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. She has a special love for cows and dreams of owning her own acreage one day filled with animals of all kinds 🐄

At home, she has two dogs, Hope and Darrell 🐾

We’re so grateful to have Isabella on our team and appreciate the many ways she helps keep our clinic running every day 💛
