Let's stitch and bitch — two weeks' worth, so bear with me 🪡 (and I'm saving something big for the end, so stick around)

My son, who genuinely grew up at Mimi Green (I started this company so I could be home with him), started college last week. University of New Mexico, studying experiential outdoor education. He's a full-on adult now and I am not okay about it. 🥹

We also got in fabric samples for this year's Halloween and Christmas collars — it feels like the second school starts, the holidays are already here. And we launched a new purple pattern and accessory in cotton (our first cotton pattern in a while), and I am obsessed. Genuinely haven't seen a coat it doesn't complement.

And now, the big one: while photographing the new pattern, we met a Mexican hairless up for adoption, and... she won me over. We've started a one-week trial to see if she's the right fit for our family. Nervous, excited, feel like a brand new mom all over again. This deserves its own video, so more on her very soon. 🐾

Let’s stitch and bitch — two weeks worth this time, sorry for the radio silence, I was under the weather 🫠
The recap: we switched to solid brass D-rings so your collars actually last (no more plating fading to silver), wholesale has been absolute madness in the best way (Faire summer market + so many new stores now carrying Mimi Green), the website’s had some hiccups while we work on accessibility improvements for blind shoppers, and this video’s your first look at our new succulent pattern dropping this week — plus a matching succulent accessory for all my plant parents.
And obviously we have to mention: Jinny Lu the pug just won the 2026 World’s Ugliest Dog contest. Sesame is so proud of her girl. 🏆

OOTD: matching in royal blue 💙

Ses is wearing this week's doggie deal — reflective nylon webbing in royal blue — and I found a thrifted dress in almost the exact same shade, so obviously we had to twin.

Beyond just being cute, I genuinely love her in reflective gear for night walks — cars can see us coming so much easier in the dark. Pair that with her Fi, and I worry a lot less if she ever gets out of the yard again (she has, more than once, ask me how I know).
