Hey everyone!
All of us here at the Dog House have been talking about making some changes so this space can be more functional and safer for everyone who attends. Creating a more legitimate house show venue is important to us, and we've been discussing new guidelines that we encourage attendants to abide by. Some of these include:
- providing a (suggested) donation at the door. *if money for the touring bands cannot be provided, donations can be non-perishables for Food Not Bombs*
- if neither money nor food can be provided, we have a list of simple tasks that need to be completed at the shows so they go more smoothly. tasks will be listed at the door and those who show up first will get to choose which task they wish to do.
- sock donations for Kyler, because we all know that boy only owns about 3 socks total. (this one is mostly a joke...mostly)
- recycling bins and ash trays will be more accessible, and we expect them to be used!!
We want the Dog House community to be interactive and involved, and we think that by encouraging helpful behavior, this space will become more positive and productive.
