Some goodbyes are filled with both gratitude and tears. 💗

It’s hard to put into words what Abi has meant to Groomingdales.

Abi has been with me from the beginning of this journey. She started as our receptionist and helped me build the foundation of what Groomingdales is today. Along the way, she became interested in grooming, and I had the privilege of watching her learn, grow, and find something she was truly talented at.

Over the last four years, I’ve watched her become an incredible woman, friend, groomer and discover her own special place in creative grooming. Watching someone you care about grow into their talent is one of the most rewarding parts of this business.

And now, Abi is getting ready to begin a new chapter of her own and seeking passions she’s only dreamt about. 🥹

I’m sad. Really sad. But I’m also incredibly proud of her and excited to see where this next adventure takes her.

Abi, thank you for growing alongside me. Thank you for your hard work, your creativity, your loyalty, and for being part of building Groomingdales into what it is today. You will always be part of this place and part of our story.

We love you, we are going to miss you more than you know, and we will be cheering you on every step of the way. 💗🐾

Sometimes I look around this shop and just feel overwhelmed with gratitude. 🥹💗

One of the greatest gifts of owning Groomingdales isn’t just getting to do what I love—it’s getting to watch these incredible people grow into who they’re meant to be.

I get to watch them learn, gain confidence, push themselves, find their strengths, overcome hard days, celebrate the good ones, and become better and better at a craft they pour so much of themselves into.

And somewhere along the way, they became so much more than people who work for me. They became people I love deeply, people I believe in, and people I am unbelievably proud of.

I hope they know that I see them. I see how hard they work. I see how much they care. I see how far they’ve come—and I see how much more is still ahead of them.

Getting to stand back and watch them become amazing at what they do is something I will never take for granted.

I’m so thankful for this little family we’ve built. For every laugh, every crazy day, every lesson, every dog, every hard conversation, and every bit of growth along the way.

I love you y’all more than you know. And I am so, so proud of you. 🐾💗

At Groomingdales Pet Spa, we’re looking for a dedicated Bather/Receptionist to join our high-spirited, pet-loving team. Your day will be a mix of gently bathing pups, assisting groomers, and creating a warm, welcoming experience for every client who walks through our doors.

We pride ourselves on a supportive, team-focused environment where everyone steps in to help and grow together. Whether you’re looking to build a career in grooming or just love working with animals and people, there’s room for you here.

What You’ll Do:
• Bathe and prep dogs for grooming
• Assist groomers as needed
• Greet clients and check pets in/out
• Answer phones and schedule appointments
• Help keep the salon clean and running smoothly

What We’re Looking For:
• A love for animals (and patience with all personalities!)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
