"Help! It's winter but my dog is shedding more than ever!"

Did you know that dogs that reside mostly inside the home shed like it's spring time due to the heat kicking on?

Their body doesn't know seasons... just temperatures. So just as their coats were building for winter... we caved and turned the heat on and your dog's body thinks they're in a warm climate again.

This is why I say to NEVER give up routine grooming over the cold months. Monthly nail trims are important to prevent injury on snow and ice!

All of my regulars are coming in and leaving messes for me to clean up but at least they're leaving it here and not at home.
