If you're ever wondering what life with a young Tornjak is like, this tale from Popsicle's family about sums it up π€£
"Popsicle hangs on the porch a lot. It has a gate, so he canβt get off. Last weekend, he started barking and growling. Jeff went out and was able to shoot one of two coyotes that we would never have known were there.
When he is on the porch and wants in, he lets himself in. Echo and Loki do too {other pack members}. But Popsicle took it another step and learned to let himself out (turn the lever and pull). None of the other dogs figured this out. I wanted him to stay in and locked the door. I heard him trying to open the door and went out. He threw his body to the floor like a toddler throwing a tantrum π I unlocked the door and let him on the porch. He watched intently, so Iβll let you know when he figures out the lock. π€¦π»ββοΈ He doesnβt like being told no and pouts every time. Itβs so pathetic π"
