Two weeks old! Eyes are open and they are finding their legs! Lots of cuddling and nursing. Ruthie is doing such a great job. She loves these babies and her food plus special canned food, nevermind her inhaling it. 😂🥰 The real fun starts soon! We still have some sweet babies looking for forever homes. Did you know that puppy socialization should be started before the puppies even open their eyes (~10 days old)?!? Puppies should be gently handled and stroked at least two times a day starting at a week old so they learn that human touch is a positive experience. We don't allow our kids to handle the puppies when they are this young without supervison but the kids definitely help with socialization as they get older. Ruthie won't allow the kids near the pups but trusted adults are more than welcome. 🥰

This little guy is very chill during his handling sessions. 😎 Onto week two! Males and females still available at this time. 🥰
