❤️Big papa here is looking for his forever home.❤️
We aren't too sure of what his home life was like before he was at the shelter. But he started at the shelter just laying in a corner completely shut down. We have been working very hard to build up his confidence and help with his fear. He has made strides in his training! He is learning to trust and how to just be a dog again. He is an excellent leash walker, he knows sit and down now. We have been working on him being comfortable with vet care. Like looking at his teeth and ears and he is doing so well! We are going to be working on stay, leave it and confidence in public as well. It is not yet known if he is cat or dog friendly. I will be testing him with dogs while he is here. If your looking for a gorgeous cuddle bug then Big Papa might be the one for you! Please reach out to Community Humane shelter of Steuben county.

🐾Our 5 week in home training course gives very important information. 1 section talks about body language and how your dog communicates. One section is important things to know with owning a dog. The third section is homework and fun games for the dog and client!🐾

Here we have 1 student and 1 passerby who checks in for treats. As you can see they are paying close attention to the homework! The homework helps build the relationship!

We only have 1 spot left for a Board and Train in June! After that we are booked full from now until July❤️

We are so thankful for all of our clients and future clients. I love getting to look back at videos and pictures of previous clients. I also love getting updates from their owners!

Miss Marly went home today and I know her owners are so happy to have her back home! She learned so many valuable skills and worked on self soothing her anxiety. We didn't just leave her to figure it out we helped her step by step until she was able to start calming herself down on her own❤️
