UPDATE: Pending Adoption

Meet Raven ๐Ÿ–ค
Raven is a 6-week-old loving little girl who is looking for her chance at a forever home.
This tiny hitchhiker was brought into PetSmart by a kind lady after Raven jumped up into her car and caught a ride all the way to the pet store! Raven was starving, thirsty, and doing her best to find help โ€” and thankfully, she found it.
Now Raven is safe at the shelter with a full belly, soft blankets, and people who care about her. She is finally on the right track, and all she needs now is a home where she can grow into a cat who will never have to remember what it felt like to be hungry.
Raven is a mellow, sweet little kitten who loves to be cuddled. Sheโ€™s gentle, precious, and so deserving of a family to call her own.
Raven is ready for her second chance. ๐Ÿ–ค

Meet Rook, Basil, Pickle, and Birdie ๐Ÿ’•
These four tiny 6-week-old kittens have already had quite the adventure in their short little lives. They were found on a boat after traveling all the way down from Tennessee! After such a long ride, these babies ended up here at the shelter when they were only a few days old.
They were far too little to be on their own, but thankfully one of our amazing fosters stepped up and gave them exactly what they needed โ€” bottle feeding, warmth, care, and a safe place to grow.
Now Rook, Basil, Pickle, and Birdie are happy, healthy, playful little kittens who are pouncing at the chance to find homes of their own! They are full of curiosity, kitten energy, tiny meows, and sweet snuggles.
These babies started life with an unexpected journey, but now theyโ€™re ready for their next chapter โ€” a loving family to call their own. ๐Ÿ’›

Meet Twyla ๐Ÿ’•

Twyla is a precious 7-week-old calico kitten with a gentle little spirit and the sweetest face. This tiny girl was sadly dumped as a stray, but thankfully she was found by kind animal lovers who made sure she got the help she needed.

Twyla was taken to the vet for an injury to her mouth, and weโ€™re happy to say she is on the mend and doing so much better! Sheโ€™s still just a baby, but sheโ€™s already shown how brave and resilient she is.

Twyla is spayed and FIV/FeLV negative.

Like most kittens her age, Twyla is curious, soft, and full of potential. She deserves to grow up in a loving home where she will never have to wonder if she is safe again.

Twyla is looking for a family who will give her patience, love, and all the cozy kitten snuggles she deserves. ๐Ÿ’›

Meet Mr. Chuckles, a 33-pound terrier mix who is just over a year old. His time at the shelter has run out, and he urgently needs an adopter or rescue commitment.

Mr. Chuckles absolutely loves people and never turns down a toy. Give him a squeaky toy, a tennis ball, or something to carry around, and youโ€™ll see his fun-loving personality shine. He wants nothing more than a person to call his own.

Mr. Chuckles would do best as the only pet in the home and prefers a home without small children. He is looking for someone who will love him for the loyal, playful companion he is.

Every share matters. Every tag matters. His life depends on being seen.

Hobie is still settling into shelter life, but he has already captured our attention with his sweet face and gentle demeanor. Dogs like Hobie deserve the chance to leave the shelter behind and spend their days in a safe, loving home. Unfortunately, his time is limited, and he needs your help.

๐Ÿพ Why Our Shelter Needs Volunteers ๐Ÿพ

When people hear the word volunteer, they often think it means spending hours at the shelter. While we love having hands-on volunteers, there are so many ways to helpโ€”even from home.

Sometimes volunteering means giving a dog a pup cup and seeing them smile. Sometimes itโ€™s sitting with a wee bitty puppy thatโ€™s crying because itโ€™s scared and alone. Sometimes itโ€™s taking a few minutes to comfort a nervous cat or helping a shy dog learn to trust people.

But volunteering doesnโ€™t have to happen inside our shelter walls.

You can help by:
๐Ÿพ Sharing our posts and adoptable pets on social media.
๐Ÿพ Inviting friends and family to follow our page.
๐Ÿพ Networking with rescues that may be able to pull dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens into their programs.
๐Ÿพ Helping spread the word about animals in need of adoption or rescue placement.
๐Ÿพ Being an advocate for homeless pets in our community.

Every share, every comment, every rescue contact, and every conversation about our animals can help save a life. The pet you share today may be seen by the adopter, volunteer, or rescue that changes its future forever.

No act of kindness is too small. Whether youโ€™re cuddling a scared puppy at the shelter or sharing a post from your couch, you are helping our animals find hope.

Together, we can give them the second chance they deserve.

๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’™ NEW STRAY INTAKE โ€“ MEET ROSCOE ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿพ

This handsome blue-eyed boy was picked up as a stray from Dixie Dale Road in Albertville on 06/04/2026. We are calling him Roscoe and he weighs approximately 45 pounds.

Roscoe has only just arrived at the shelter, and we are hopeful that either his owner will come forward or that a loving adopter or rescue will see him and give him the fresh start he deserves. He may be new to us, but it's easy to see that he is a special dog with a sweet face and an even sweeter personality.

๐Ÿ“… Available for Adoption or Rescue: 06/10/26
โš ๏ธ Euthanasia Date: 08/03/2026

While that date may seem far away, our kennels fill quickly, and every dog needs a plan. We are sharing Roscoe now so potential adopters and rescues have plenty of time to see him and help secure his future.

Please share Roscoe's post and help us find the family he's been waiting for. Whether he's missing his old home or searching for a brand-new one, he deserves a safe place to land and people who will love him for life.

๐Ÿ’” SIX BABIES. ONE SHELTER. NOT ENOUGH SPACE. ๐Ÿ’”

These six innocent puppies were found alone on Doyle Drive in Albertville on 06/03/2026. At only 8 weeks old, they should be curled up in loving homes, playing with toys, and falling asleep in someone's lap. Instead, they are growing up in a shelter, waiting and hoping that someone will notice them before it's too late.

๐Ÿพ 1 Female
๐Ÿพ 5 Males
๐Ÿพ Approximately 8 Weeks Old

Every time someone walks past their kennel, little tails wag with hope. Every puppy believes that the next person through the door might be the one who takes them home. They don't understand why they are here or why no one has chosen them yet.

Our shelter is filling up fast, and we desperately need adopters and rescue partners to step forward. These puppies deserve the chance to know what it feels like to be loved, safe, and wanted.

Please don't scroll past them. Share their story. Tag a rescue. Tell a friend. Open your heart and your home. A few moments of your time could change the entire course of their lives.

๐Ÿค Snow โ€“ Female, approximately 9 months to 1 year old, 38 pounds
โค๏ธ๐Ÿค Candy โ€“ Female, approximately 9 months to 1 year old, 38 pounds

When they first arrived, both girls were understandably nervous and unsure, but they have come around beautifully and continue to show their sweet personalities every day. Both appear to be underweight and would greatly benefit from a family that can provide proper nutrition, love, and care.
