Ages 5-12

Your Jr. Scientist will:

🌊 Uncover the secrets of the river as they dive into the wonders of stream sampling.
🧪 Become a Master of Elements with bubbling model volcanoes and custom slime-making sessions.
🎨 Design their Discovery Gear by creating one-of-a-kind tie-dye shirts and customizing tote bags to carry all their finds!

It’s the perfect week for kids who love animals and getting creative.

Your camper will:
✨ Meet Our Residents: Experience unforgettable animal encounters and see our amazing creatures up close.
🌊 Explore the Depths: Enjoy exclusive aquarium time and discover the wonders of life under the water.
🎨 Take Home the Fun: Hand-craft their own stylish tie-dye shirts and decorate custom tote bags to carry all their camp treasures!

You saved the date, now it’s time for the details on how to ! We are pulling out all the stops for an action-packed World Turtle Day that is turtle-y awesome for the whole family!

Here is what we have planned:

✨ Family-Friendly Fun: Activities and experiences for shell-lovers of all ages.

🐢 Feed Our Shell-ebrities: Get up close and feed our turtles and tortoises for just $1.00.

Ready for the BEST. SUMMER. EVER? ☀️🐚

We’re opening the doors to wonder with two incredible summer camp experiences at Flint RiverQuarium! Whether your child is an aspiring biologist or a curious explorer, we have an adventure waiting for them.

📅 CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE:

🐠 Fish & Friends Camp 🐢

Dates: June 22–26 OR July 20–24

Fish and Friends camp will be a global journey right here in Albany! Each day focuses on animals from a different continent, featuring aquarium visits and up-close animal encounters. It’s packed with animal-themed crafts and games designed for maximum fun.

🔬 Jr. Scientist Camp 🧪

Dates: July 13–17

Partnering with our friends at the Thronateeska Heritage Center, each day campers dive into a different branch of science! Campers will jump into hands-on experiments, explore the Planetarium and Aquarium, and may even have a few surprise animal encounters along the way.
