It was definitely worth the wait😯* This is a temporary holding enclosure while I visually inspect a rescue, jumping spider. I do leave them in this enclosure for up to a week so I could monitor eating and poops and make sure they have no parasites.

Instar numbers in Jumping Spiders:
Spiders Molt(shed their exoskeleton) up to 10 times! Sometimes more sometime less, each Molt is considered an instar number. They start in the nest at i1 and continue to grow from there!

Thank you everyone for bringing the situation at Everything Pets in Schenectady to our attention. We take animal welfare seriously, and we understand why this situation would be concerning. After weeks of preparation we are deeply saddened to announce, we have decided not to participate in the upcoming expo on the 23rd. We apologize for the inconvenience to anyone that was looking forward to seeing us there.
We are going to update our pages and website with new Spiders and inventory. We will facilitate local pick up. Please don’t hesitate to reach out and we will put together a package for you.
