12/1/25: We are still actively searching for Lois (Rosie). We greatly appreciate everyone's help in looking for this scared girl. At this point there has not been a confirmed sighting. If you see her please do not chase after her, call 541-928-2789 immediately so we can track her location and reduce the risk of spooking her further. Thank you!

UPDATE: As of 9am this morning we have not had any sightings. Staff and her foster parents have been out looking every few hours. We have contacted businesses in the area asking them to keep an eye out for her. To answer the martingale collar question: yes, we do use martingales, but did not have one in her size so she was in a normal collar at the time she got loose. Thank you to everyone who is helping look for her!

We need your help!
Lois, a 20-pound Chihuahua mix, slipped her collar this morning and got loose from the shelter during a walk. Her foster parents called her Rosie and she may respond better to this name. She was last seen near the railroad tracks heading north toward Albany.

Lois is very nervous and will run if approached.
