Paradise Village Cats - Albany GA Tornado Survivors

Paradise Village Cats - Albany GA Tornado Survivors These cats are survivors of the devastating tornado that occurred on Jan 23 of 2017 in Albany,Georgia. The entire park is demolished and in ruins.

These are the cats that have survived the deadly tornado on Jan. 2017 in Albany, Georgia. The cats are slowly showing back up and finding they have no place to go, no people to care for them and nothing is as it was. They are being cared for and they will be fixed. We will try to return the cats to their owners if we are lucky enough to find them. If they are not found the cats will either find barn homes or will be cared for in the area. Any help you can provide will help us greatly.

After all this time, it is finally being rebuilt. No cats left behind.

Young kittens are so fragile. There are so many risks when a feral or stray cat is trying to raise them outdoors. Hypothermia, feline diseases, infections, parasites, fleas, hypoglycaemia, dehydration... just to name a few. Please spay and neuter your pets!

Did you know? ... Kittens as young as 4 months of age can get pregnant, have kittens at 6 months of age (when they're still a kitten themselves), and then have kittens every 9 weeks after that. 😳

This is why it's so important to spay/neuter a community cat immediately because the number of outdoor cats can get out of control very quickly!!!

Kittens born in the spring can have their own litters by fall.

Spaying, neutering, vaccinating, and ear tipping community cats helps stabilize the colony, ends suffering, and prevents the births of more community cats.
