🇺🇸 Memorial Day Weekend Closure Notice 🇺🇸

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten. ❤️🤍💙

Please note that our office will be closed Saturday May 23rd, Sunday May 24th, and Monday May 25th in observance of the holiday weekend. We will reopen with normal business hours on Tuesday May 26th.

If your pet experiences an emergency while we are closed, please contact our office through the emergency line at (229) 883-1618.

We love a good “mystery emergency”… especially the non-medical kind 😂🐾

This sweet pup would like it noted that the couch “attacked first” and the stuffing explosion was purely self-defense.

While this one didn’t require a vet visit, it’s a great reminder—if your pet ever does get into something they shouldn’t (ingesting fabric, foam, or foreign objects), give us a call right away. What looks like harmless fluff can turn into a serious blockage!

In the meantime… maybe keep those cushions under supervision 😅

📍 Westover Animal Hospital

We’re looking for a reliable, compassionate, and hardworking Veterinary Assistant/Technician to join our team!

💰 Pay is negotiable based on experience.
🕒 Schedule: Full-time
🎁 Benefits: PTO available after probationary period

What you’ll be doing:
• Assisting veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
• Safely restraining animals for treatments and exams
• Administering medications and injections
• Cleaning and sterilizing equipment and exam rooms
• Monitoring animals before/after procedures
• Basic client communication and support
• Feeding, walking, and general care of boarding or hospitalized pets

We’re looking for someone who:
• Loves animals 🐾
• Can handle a fast-paced environment
• Is dependable and ready to work
• Communicates well and works as part of a team
• Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person

✨ This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in veterinary medicine and grow in the field!
