Beautiful day to be out with the guys, we stayed out until Lola said enough and came up on the deck. Our old girl is still in charge of the hooligan brigade but needed a lie down. Longview Cane Corso has supported and backed our military and law enforcement personnel since our inception in 2008.

Self inflicted military deaths in veterans increased by 58% from 2003-2022. A gradual increase in active military self inflicted deaths increased steadily between 2011-2023 rendering them 9x more likely to die by su***de than in combat.

In law enforcement (State Police, Municipal Police, US Custom and Border patrol) the number of self inflicted deaths jumped from 152 in 2016 to 234 in 2019 with another peak observed in 2022.

For as long as we’ve been married (almost 40 years) my husband has worn these same gloves and in each of these years we’ve had Great Danes and Cane Corsi who try their best to take them from him haha. Watching this ridiculousness never gets old. No idea why but the gloves have been like catnip to our dogs lol….innumerable have been successfully stolen, buried or done in 😂

Was fun to watch Liberty, Lola and Nova with our last pup here. From early morning perimeter patrol to sudden bursts of the zoomies, just watching dogs interacting with eachother was a very entertaining way to start the day lol.

I thought to get out and pick up some sticks today but there’s still too much ice 😣 I was reminded of picking up my yard in the fall and our silly Nova stealing sticks out of my wheelbarrow as fast as i collected them lol. Stick thief extraordinaire haha.
