I am in full solidarity with Minneapolis and in support of my immigrant & refugee neighbors. If you know me personally, then you know I spent a decade volunteering with USCRI & RISSE here in Albany, and human rights are an issue I care deeply about.

I did have to cancel/reschedule three days this week from the weather ❄️ , so I am working Friday, and will be giving 50% of profits to Capital Region Sanctuary Coalition.

In these times of uncertainty, it’s important we lean into community building and protecting our vulnerable neighbors. And Bard & Baker put in words so well exactly how I also feel about this, so wanted to share their statement.

If you have a stash of old towels that could be reused, the Humane Society is in desperate need right now!

Bath time isn’t anyone’s favorite... but being clean, warm, and cozy absolutely is. 🛁🧼

Our animals go through a lot of towels every single day, for baths, bedding, clean-ups, and comfort. We sanitize and reuse them as long as possible, but right now our towel supply is fraying, thinning, and almost completely gone.

We are urgently in need of bath and beach size towels. Used towels are perfect, our animals don’t mind stains or discoloration one bit. New towels are very welcome and can be sent directly through our Amazon Wishlist.

These towels help us keep animals clean, safe, dry, and comfortable, especially after baths, during medical care, and stressful days in the shelter.

One of my most favorite pups, Miss Molly, came out to greet me for grooming on a sled last year! I love and appreciate all my doggie clients, and Molly is one of the sweetest, always very excited to greet me and for grooming 🥰.

A big thanks to the local rescue Mountain Rottie Rescue New York, don’t let the name give you any ideas, they started on and love Rotties, but it’s a very small amount of the animals they have available on rescue most are dogs of a huge variety in size and age and breed, even some cats.
I was looking for one more dog to add to my family, a small one that was a senior and short hair, and was being blessed to adopt 2 senior sister chihuahuas from mountain Rottie Rescue this April. A million times over the best thing I ever did for my self as a birthday present, the sisters have been the greatest gift in my life this year, a very difficult and turbulent year.

Sweet little Winnie had her first haircut around 5 months old. She was so happy and wiggly at first, but turned into a total gem for grooming, she is such a precious little love 🐶 ❤️.

Come out to this great event at Wolf Hollow Brewing Company tomorrow to suport Mountain Rottie Rescue! They are an amazing local rescue, where I adopted my senior sister chihuahuas from, they always have a large variety of dogs in need of loving homes. Join in jamming to live music, great food and beverages, and maybe you will meet and fall in love with the newest furry member of your family 🐶.
