ACCESS UPDATE: With snowy conditions moving in across the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests, seasonal roads have started to close. Seasonal road closures preserve public safety, prevent damage to road base, and also help preserve winter habitat for wildlife.

The majority of roads on Sulphur Ranger District will close on Nov. 24, with Canyon Lakes Ranger District following on Dec. 1. Check our Current Conditions page (https://ow.ly/5svI50XuTym) to see up-to-date information on route closures. Snowy and slippery conditions can exist on open roads. Make sure to have the appropriate equipment to self-rescue when traveling on forest, along with other safety gear.
