Mountain Breeze Kennels

We haven’t seen much of these this year…been ridiculously dry!!! 🌈 That is until yesterday. Now areas around us are flooding. 😢 Southwest Colorado was hit hard in the last 24 hours, now flooding and more on the way. 🥹

We had a vet farm visit today for puppy shots. It has rained pretty much non stop
for 24 hours, so a little wet out there!! I hadn’t gone to the coop yet…that is going to need some fill dirt. 😅

Pups got their final puppy and rabies shots today. The vet said she loves it when I call for a farm visit. 😊

It’s been such a strange fall this year!! 🤔

Normally, the aspens in my front yard change from south to north. This year they changed from north to south and the leaves on the north trees are pretty much gone now and the south trees are just starting to change. 🤯

They are in the yard with a sprinkler system. It was crazy hot this year, so maybe temps and rainfall?? I did get some pretty shots when they started changing. 😊

I’m pretty happy with the winter preparations that have been accomplished here!! Every year I fight trying to provide shelter, shade, and wind breaks in some of the pens. This year I have put up structures…no more tarps and shade sails everywhere!! 🎉🎉

MBK Aila just blew me away!! She has always been a good girl, but she was exceptional today! I went out to feed pups and found a rooster in the puppy pen…with five 15 week old pups and Aila. Aila was protecting the rooster, teaching her pups or any other dog that came to the fence to leave it alone!! What a good girl!!! ❤️🐾
