🐾❤️🏡 ADOPTED!!!! 🏡❤️🐾

THREE ADOPTIONS THIS WEEK!!! 🎉

🐾 AUSSIE found her perfect human companion after 35 days in our shelter!

🐾 CHEF BOYARDEE was adopted by a familiar face after 78 days in our shelter!

🐾 HOAGIE is enjoying life as a new ride-along buddy with his new best friend! Hoagie spent a combined total of 174 days in our shelter before finally finding his forever home! ❤️

We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who makes happy endings like these possible! Whether you donate, volunteer, adopt, share our posts, or simply spread the word, you play a part in helping these dogs find their people. ❤️

Some dogs find their forever homes quickly, while others need a little more time for the right person to come along. But every single one of them has a story worth telling, a life worth loving, and a chance worth giving. 🐾

Hoagie’s story is a beautiful reminder that sometimes the happiest endings take a little longer to write. 🥹❤️

To everyone who continues to support our dogs while they wait for their happily ever after, THANK YOU!

And to our three newest adoptive families, thank you for giving these sweet souls the love and homes they deserve!

❤️ We’d love to hear your happy adoption stories! Have you ever adopted a dog who was waiting a little longer for their perfect match? Share your story or a picture in the comments! 🐾

🐾💕MEET DELILAH💕🐾 99% SWEETHEART, 1% BROKEN ZOOMIE MACHINE! 🤣💨

Some dogs are wild. Some dogs are energetic. Some dogs are professional couch potatoes.
And then there’s Delilah. ❤️

Delilah is a 2 yr old sweetheart whose favorite hobbies include soaking up sunshine, moving at approximately 0.5 mph, and being the gentlest little soul you’ll ever meet. 🥹

But don’t let her calm, laid-back personality fool you.
Every once in a while, Delilah gets a sudden burst of ZOOMIES, and apparently her front legs and back legs forget they’re supposed to be working together. 🤣 What follows is a spectacular combination of bunny hops, sideways skips, and questionable steering. It’s impossible to watch without laughing! (Videos in comments)

And when she’s done? Right back to being a peaceful little potato. 🥔❤️

Now, let’s talk about why Delilah is basically the PERFECT family dog!

🐾 2 years old
💕 Spayed and fully vaccinated
🏡 Believed to be house-trained
👧 Wonderful with children of all ages!
🐕 Great with other dogs, males AND females!
🐈 Cat friendly! (Actually, she’s a little scared of them. 😂)
🥹 Incredibly sweet, gentle, calm, and loving.

Delilah isn’t asking for much. She doesn’t need a mansion, a fancy bed, or a backyard obstacle course.
She just needs someone who will love her as much as she deserves. Someone who will let her soak up the sunshine, enjoy her peaceful little life, and occasionally witness the world’s most uncoordinated zoomies. ❤️

💥 HER ADOPTION FEE IS ONLY $30! 💥
And she comes with her very own going-home goodies!
🎁 A small bucket of dog food
🎁 Collar & leash
🎁 A jacket or sweater to keep her cozy!

❤️ Delilah has so much love to give. All she’s missing is someone to give it to.

If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal, hilarious best friend, PLEASE come meet this girl.

And even if you can’t adopt, SHARE HER! Somewhere out there is Delilah’s person, and one little share might be what brings them together. 🐾💕

Let’s get this sweet girl HOME! 🏡❤️

🐾A SAD UPDATE & A HAPPY ONE🐾

💔We are very sad to report that Lucy, the sweet baby found hit by the train Friday has crossed the rainbow bridge. After a second opinion, it was determined she had a broken spine and was paralyzed. 9 year old Lucy was surrounded by her family, who she had known since she was a puppy. Our thoughts are with them today. RIP Sweet Lucy.

💜Lucky had surgery to amputate one leg that was shattered after being hit by a car on Friday. She also received stitches to her head. Lucky refused to eat at the vet, the stress from being in such a new environment surrounded by strangers. She went to her foster home yesterday, but not before making a pit stop by the jail to be reunited with the trustees. Lucky was so excited to see them that she happily drank water and ate the food they offered her and emphatically wagged her tail.

Lucky’s Final Bill totals $1,907.37.
We have approximately 1/4 of that amount raised. If you can help us close the gap on this bill we would greatly appreciate it!
Please specify any donations as “LUCKY”!
