We’re offering limited same-day/urgent appointments at Alameda Pet Hospital for those “uhhh…this doesn’t look right” moments. 👀🐶🐱

⏰ Appointments are first call, first scheduled— so don’t wait around hoping your pet suddenly decides to get their act together. 😂 Availability is limited, the fee is $148, and these visits are focused on the issue at hand.
So, what counts as same-day/urgent? We’re talking:
�🤢 Vomiting/diarrhea, especially bloody�🍽️ Not eating or drinking�🌾 Foxtails�🚽 Urinary issues�🤧 Coughing/sneezing�👀 Goopy/watery eyes�👂 Ear issues�🔥 Hot spots�🩹 Minor injuries/wounds�🐾 Limping/lameness
⚠️ Heads up: Animals or procedures requiring sedation are subject to morning availability only.
Now, for the actually “🚨🚨🚨 THIS IS AN EMERGENCY” situations:
please seek emergency care for: toxin ingestion, active seizures, active bleeding, major injuries/wounds, broken bones, dog fights or being hit by a car, closed/swollen eyes, sight/hearing loss, labored breathing, a blocked cat with no urine in the past 24 hours, heatstroke, or an unstable pet.
