DEER SEASON 2026 IS HERE — T-BONE’S EUROPEAN MOUNTS IS READY.

If you bring one home, bring it to T-Bone’s.

ALACHUA, FL —

Deer season starts this Saturday, and T-Bone’s European Mounts is officially open for the 2026 season.

Bring me your deer skull and I’ll turn it into a clean, bright, finished European mount ready for the wall.

EUROPEAN MOUNT — $100

Your $100 includes the finished skull work, whitening, cleaning, secure gluing, and antler/horn finishing.

CUSTOM WALL MOUNT — $55

Wall mounts are available separately.
Bullet and arrow designs available.

DROP-OFF REQUIREMENTS

• Skull must be delivered in reasonable condition, either fleshed or recently harvested.
• Antlers/horns must be intact and attached at drop-off.
• Tag number must be left with the skull or animal.

Fresh out of the boil, natural, raw, and exactly where every proper mount begins.
Deer season is over. This is the time of year mounts either get finished correctly or stay exactly the way they are.

If you’ve got a skull on the wall, on a shelf, or in a box that was done years ago, yellowed, dull, dusty, loose, or simply not where it should be, this is when it gets corrected.

I’m not here to change what it is.
I’m here to clean it up, tighten it back down, bring the detail back, and make it look the way it should have the first time.

Another day in the shop.

Today’s work looks a little different, but the standard stays the same. When I’m caught up on mounts, I stay moving alongside my dad at Grandma Katie’s Butcher Shop, hands-on, detail, focused, and working with the same respect for the craft.

Deer season may be winding down, but I’m still accepting skulls and scheduling new European mounts. Every piece follows a proven process to deliver a clean, durable finish built to last.

Two European mounts are moving through the shop today, each at a different stage. The skull shown here is entering its final clean-up and detail phase, where the bone starts to show its full definition. The other piece is in the whitening stage after the first round of prep. Every mount goes through a careful, step-by-step process to keep the bone strong and deliver a clean, long-lasting finish. If you expect professional work, consistent results, and real attention to detail, I’m now scheduling new projects.

Two finished skulls on the table today, both ready for pickup and both turned out exactly the way I like sending work out the door. It’s rare, but the shop’s caught up right now, and I’m wide open for the next skull that comes through. A lot of you saw the bullet mount video I posted earlier and showed it a ton of support. The mount in that video and the one you see here is the first design I ever built. It’s been solid, and I’ve put a lot of skulls on it. But Florida deer aren’t built like Colorado mule deer, and it’s time to fit the work to the kind of animals we see here. I’ve been dialing in a new bullet mount that fits cleaner and hits harder, and the arrowhead mount for archery kills is almost ready too. I’ll be posting an updated video soon so you can see the next step.
