🇺🇸 Remembering the Dogs Who Served After 9/11 🐾
When we remember September 11th, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger when everyone else was running away.
Among those heroes were countless search-and-rescue dogs who worked tirelessly in the days and weeks following the attacks.
Some were trained to search for survivors. Others were trained to locate human remains. And many provided something just as important: comfort.
They didn’t understand the events of September 11th. They only knew their job was to search, serve, and help.
Today, we remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders, military personnel, civilians, and four-legged heroes who gave so much in the aftermath of 9/11.
🐾 We remember them.
We honor them.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸
