🌟 Satellite Saturday: Meet Eddie! 🛰️🐾

This week’s spotlight is on the one and only Eddie — proof that healing doesn’t stop a goofy smile!

Eddie may be rocking the cone of shame right now, but don’t let that fool you. This handsome boy is full of personality, loves attention, and always manages to make everyone laugh. His giant ears seem to pick up treats from miles away, and his tail never stops wagging when people are around.

Despite a rough patch, Eddie has stayed happy, resilient, and full of love. He’s the kind of dog who reminds you that every day is a good day when you’ve got friends, sunshine, and a little hope.

Look at this boy! He’s so handsome

100 days. That’s how long volunteer favorite Cletus has been waiting for a home. This housebroken, incredible walking partner blows our minds that he is still available and we just cannot figure it out! The only thing we can come up with is his size (65 #) but he is so gentle on leash, you wouldn’t even know!

Cletus’ happy place is a patch of grass to roll on his back for scritches and for fun. He flops for belly rubs and has the best personality that will keep you laughing! 🤡 This Heinz 57 mutt puts on all the charms and is amazing to walk. He is confident and friendly.🥰 He loves treats and takes them so nicely. He already knows “sit” and is eager to learn more! He has hilarious gentle zoomies on leash but never gets too rowdy. He seems to know what is expected of him.

Come meet Cletus The Dogs at the Stark County Dog Warden. Please bring all family members (dogs on leash and cats in carrier, too!) to make sure everyone approves. 🥰

Every dog comes with donated, free training sessions with local trainers: Cosmic K9 (2 sessions) and Hoperidge RTA (1 session). Adopters should research post-adoption decompression and the rule of 3s: 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn your routine and 3 months to start to feel at home..

At this time, we are temporarily on intake hold. Our rescue is completely overwhelmed, and we simply do not have the space, resources, or foster homes needed to safely take in additional animals.

Right now, the biggest ways you can help are:

🏡 Become a Foster – Fosters save lives by opening their homes to animals in need until they find permanent families.

❤️ Adopt – Every adoption creates space for another animal to be rescued.

💵 Donate – Veterinary care, food, supplies, and transportation costs add up quickly. Every dollar helps us continue our mission.

📢 Share Our Posts – Even if you can’t foster, adopt, or donate, sharing our animals and fundraising posts helps us reach people who can.

This is one of the most difficult positions for a rescue to be in. We never want to say no to an animal in need, but without more support from our community, we cannot continue to help as many lives as we would like.
