As a growing public health and farm concern, it is important now more than ever to learn about tick prevention. This evening class will feature Dr. Timothy McDermott, DVM from the Ohio State University Extension - Franklin County. This program will cover tick identification, disease risk, prevention recommendations, and will provide more information on getting ticks tested. If you spend time outdoors or have livestock, pets, or children, please consider attending this class. This program will be at the Portage Health District’s building at 999 East Main Street, Ravenna, OH 44266 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. There is no cost to attend.
