It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these! This cool young bull, off North Star’s Brick & Mortar (Bricks) × NSK Pretty, is headed to his new home in Oklahoma! 💪🏾

This guy is a perfect example of what happens when breeders work together to produce high-powered dogs!

Bricks came through a co-own deal with Trainyard Bullies in Washington, with his sire owned by Joe Reds of Heavy Duty Kennels.

NSK Pretty, a Mohan the Great daughter, came through a collaboration with Rachel Brown of Blackwater Bulldogs and later Shai of Mooney Bullies in New York, who brought Pretty back to me to be bred to Bricks.

Different breeders, different states, one common goal — producing QUALITY bulldogs! 💯

This young man is headed to an established Oklahoma program with a history of producing and titling dogs in BRC and ABKC. I’ll let them make the official announcement, but I’m excited to see what his future holds!

NORTH STAR KENNEL — ALPHA × FANCY LITTER UPDATE! 🔥

I’m not sure if I’m the only breeder who feels this way, but I’ve always been a little superstitious about posting puppies too early. Over the years, it seems like sometimes the ones you’re most excited to show off are the ones you end up losing. So I tend to give them a little time before making their official debut.

With that being said, here’s an updated look at our Strongtowers’ Alpha × North Star’s Fancy litter, coming up on a week and a half old!

One male is missing from the pictures. He just wasn’t quite ready to make his debut yet! 😂

Man, I’m extremely happy with how these little bulls are coming along! Everybody is fat, healthy, eating good, and already showing some serious BONE AND DOME! 💪🏽🔥

And to be completely honest, the merle pups were actually a surprise!

Fancy is what I believe to be a cryptic merle. You can see some of the characteristics in her eyes, but she doesn’t display any obvious merle pattern in her coat. So when I put this breeding together, I wasn’t necessarily expecting merles. Needless to say, that was a nice little bonus!

And beyond their beautiful colors, these little guys and gals are already looking like they’re going to be something special!

Shout out to my guy Lionel, who stopped by and used North Star’s Vice for stud service with this beautiful female.

We’re expecting mostly blacks and blues out of this pairing, but for me, this breeding is about a whole lot more than color. I’m a huge fan of this female’s headpiece, type, and overall look, and I think she complements Vice extremely well.

Vice brings that big bone, powerful frame, hard body, and strong Corso type. Taking him to a beautiful, compact female like this, I’m expecting some really impressive pups with that hard-bodied, sleek look we’ve all grown to love in the Cane Corso—big heads, bone, structure, and presence.

Definitely looking forward to seeing what these two put on the ground. Lionel, I appreciate you trusting Vice and bringing your girl to us for the stud service. Can’t wait to see how this one turns out, bro.

We normally get our walks in somewhere in and around the Cuyahoga Valley, but today we decided to switch it up and hit the Metro Parks. New scenery, new trails…

I haven’t hiked over here in years, and we came across this pond—I believe it’s called Alder Pond. We walked up to the water, and Serbio just stopped, posted up, and did this.

Man… whether you’re into Dobermans, Bulldogs, Bullies, Frenchies, or whatever your breed of choice may be, you’ve got to appreciate a beautiful animal when you see one.

That right there is just a flat-out beautiful dog. Structure, presence, athleticism, and that classic Doberman silhouette. Sometimes the picture says everything. 💪🏾

Came down to the doc today to get an ultrasound and pup count on our girl Fancy for our Strongtowers’ Alpha × North Star’s Fancy breeding.

I know what the doctor told me she saw… 👀🔥 But I’m curious what everybody else sees.

Here’s an updated look at this Bricks son that I’ve been holding onto for a while. 🔥

Really, I just wanted to give him some time and see how he developed. I also kept a Bricks son off of Bricks × Olive Branch, who in my opinion is an incredible specimen himself. I wanted to let both boys mature a little and see which direction I wanted to go with my program.

Truthfully, I think I was trying to talk myself into keeping both of them. 😂 But I just don’t have the room or the time to do both of these young males justice, so I’ve finally decided to make this boy AVAILABLE.

This boy is off North Star’s Bricks × NSK Pretty. Pretty is off NSK Mohan, bred to a female from Rachel Brown’s Blackwater Bulldogs yard. Really nice combination of blood, and I think you can see it coming together in this young dog.

Big shout-out to Shy over at Mooney’s Bulldogs in New York for trusting the blood and putting this breeding together. 🙏🏾

Great type. Great structure. Great pedigree. Great pup. He’s looking for a great home or program where somebody can appreciate what he brings to the table.
