Next up for technician spotlight: Jessica!

I'm thrilled to be the newest member of Turkeyfoot! I've always been fascinated by anatomy and animals. I feel it is our job as humans to take care of them. Growing up I wanted to be a marine biologist, but I've decided to become a vet tech as a career and I couldn't be happier with my choice. I've grown up taking rescuing, caring, and being around animals. I got my first baby (cat) at 8 years old, and my precious rare Pearl lived to be 15. We were inseparable. I have a certificate for ASL, and I'm fluent in movie/tv quotes. I love watching movies, reading books, and music. I am happily married with 2 crazy boys and one pretty kitty at the moment, but I wish I had room for every kind of animal. Your furry companion will always be treated like the precious baby they are when they're with me!

Meet Riley! 🦎 🦅

My reason that I have so much love and passion for animals first started when I was only a month old with my very first cat who was always with me and the love kept growing ever since.

When I was around 9 years old I already knew I wanted to be surrounded by animals for the rest of my life. My mom would always catch me playing as a veterinarian with all of my stuffed animals

Now I’m so thankful to have the opportunity to have the best job ever as a vet tech and save/care for as many animals as I can.

I also have so much love for all exotic/wild animals and I’m so proud to have the honor to be called the crazy bird lady.

Tech Spotlight: ANALISE💜

Hi! My name is Analise, I've been at Turkeyfoot for 6 years now. I absolutely LOVE being a tech. My love for animals started young, I grew up saying I wanted to be an Orca whale trainer 😬 until I saw how scary they are so I'll stick with our four legged companions. 🐾 Meet Jordan! ❤️

Growing up, I always told my mom and dad that I wanted to be a veterinarian. Although my path changed a little, I found my passion for veterinary medicine as a veterinary technician! I’m currently working toward becoming a licensed veterinary technician through Penn Foster. 🩺🐶

At home, I have a little zoo of my own! 🐾 I’m a proud pet mom to four dogs — Penelope, Rose, Daisy, and Earl — and two cats, Bear and Kitty. I’ve always loved dogs and cats, but lately, I’ve been falling in love with exotic animals, too! I also have a ferret named Panda and a hedgehog named Checkers. I love learning something new about them every day! 🦔🦦

When I’m not at the clinic, you can usually find me spending time with my husband, Will, and our 18-month-old son, Wyatt. We love camping, riding dirt bikes, and taking our side-by-sides out for adventures! 🏕️

I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends during your appointments! Thank you for letting me be a part of your pets’ care. ❤️🐾

Next up for tech week spotlight: LUKE!

My love for animals started at a young age. Growing up, I loved playing veterinarian with my stuffed animals.

I have a special love for exotic animals, especially hedgehogs and poison dart frogs. Oh I can’t forget the small dogs with big personalities(chihuahuas). 🦔🐸🐶

My favorite part of each day is giving all my patients plenty of kisses and affection.

My next big step is preparing to take the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE) as I work toward becoming a credentialed veterinary technician. I’m excited to continue learning, growing in this field, and making a positive difference in the lives of animals.

For me, veterinary medicine is more than a career — it’s a lifelong passion. ❤️🐾

💜🐾 Vet Tech Week Spotlight: Meet Liv! 🐾💜

Liv has been an animal lover since childhood, she couldn’t imagine doing anything other than working with animals! 💕 She’s currently attending KSU to earn her associate degree in Veterinary Technology, with the goal of passing the VTNE and becoming a credentialed veterinary technician! 🎓

She loves learning anything and everything about animals, and biology has always been her favorite subject! 🧬 Being able to gain hands-on experience in both our clinic and kennel has been one of the best parts of her journey!
