This post is EXTREMELY overdue, but it’s been a busy summer here at Victory Training Center!

We had an absolute blast at the Summer Solstice Soiree! A huge thank you to Lynn Schmidt and the entire show staff. You truly know how to put on a first-class horse show. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and accommodating, and the World Equestrian Center – Ohio was an outstanding venue.

I’m so incredibly proud of our riders and horses!

Riley Stump and Giselle GF, owned by Bob & Whitney Caldwell, had an incredible debut together. In Riley’s first time showing Giselle, they captured multiple wins in classes of 22 and 17 horses. This talented young rider earned every ribbon, and I couldn’t be prouder of this beautiful partnership.

Zoey Stump stepped up and expertly piloted Blomke Madeliefke B “Prada,” now proudly owned by Victory Training Center, to two well-deserved victories. Prada is still new to the show ring, and her future is incredibly bright! I was also honored to win the Open division aboard this wonderful mare.

Zoey and I also had the privilege of showing Scott Farrell beautiful part-bred mare MHS Star of Beauty, earning three Championship titles together.

Of course, our queen Shangri La PBF “Lollie” didn’t disappoint, taking home wins in both the Open and Jackpot classes.

One of the highlights of the show was watching the adorable Charlotte Morgan win the Walk-Trot division with confidence, while her wonderful mother, Jody Balcom-Morgan earned the Amateur Western victory aboard Lollie. Charlotte also made her first outing with her part-bred Friesian pony Maverick, finishing second in a large Walk-Trot class. We absolutely adore this pony and can’t wait to watch this team continue to grow!

A special thank you to Ellen Bieler for the opportunity to show Heirbender, her outstanding part-bred Hunter mare. She is an absolute joy to ride and earned multiple wins in large, competitive classes with ease.

A very special thank you to Dot Hickman Rider of Circle R Stables for entrusting me with the opportunity to show your beautiful mare, Hiro Sistable.Together, we were thrilled to bring home two in-hand wins with this outstanding mare.

None of this would be possible without the incredible people behind the scenes.

This post is EXTREMELY overdue, but it’s been a busy summer here at Victory Training Center!

Although I was incredibly excited and had been gearing up for EquiFest this year, unfortunately I was unable to attend due to an emergency with my first-born fur child, Hunter. There was simply no way I could leave him, and it was the right decision — but I am truly heartbroken and disappointed that I couldn’t be there representing the incredible Friesian breed.

That said, I was absolutely thrilled to see that we made the cover of the EquiFest program this year! What an exciting moment for Freark Fan’e Ridderdijk, our stallion standing at stud at Victory Training Center. Seeing him featured was incredibly special and a proud moment for our program and the breed.

Since I couldn’t be there in person, I’d still love to connect with those who attended. Anyone who brings a 2026 EquiFest program to Victory Training Center will receive $10 off their first lesson — or $10 off a lesson if you’re already part of our program.

I am truly sorry to everyone who was excited to see Victory Training Center at EquiFest this year. I promise we will absolutely be back next year — bigger and better.
