Heading into fall we are looking to expand our inventory of dry supplies for both freshwater and saltwater. We are reaching out to you to recommend what we should carry. If you have a brand you like or a specific item you use on a regular basis please let us know. If you have an item you like but have trouble getting let us know that too. We have another secret we have been sitting on in the fishroom. These are L134 Leopard Frog F1 plecos! These are about 3-4 weeks old.

Our new Reeflo pump is Huge! (That's what she said!) Lol. We were not happy with the flow we had on the main coral system but we think this pump will fix that. Lol. This is the Reeflo 2hp pump that is capable of pumping 12,000 GPH at zero head pressure. Since some of our grow out tanks are on the second floor this pump will handle the flow. This is replacing 5 DC water pumps that are currently running. Just a small project for this weekend since we have to install a 220 line and rebuild the plumbing to use 1 header feeding 14 smaller lines that goto the various racks. More updates this weekend as we are installing it.

Spent most of today finishing the return plumbing and drain lines on our invert system. The system consists of 30 ten gallon tanks, two 30 gallon tanks, two 40 breeder tanks and finally two 75 gallon tanks (you know incase we want to bring a stingray). Next is to finish plumbing the pump to the manifold but that will have to wait until Saturday when the pump finally arrives. There are 2 large protein skimmers on the system plus the usual prefilter and biological filtration. We also have a 10 gallon refugium and gfo and carbon reactors. It will be a great system to bring in Clean up Crew animals as well as another must have inverts. We are chugging along and hoping to be starting appointments within the next 30 days.

Our fragging station is almost complete. The saw actually sits in small sink. It will be convenient that the water can continually drain down the sink and super convenient for cleaning the saw after each use.

I think we should have bought stock in the zip tie company. Lol. Started with a bag of 1,000 ties that is about 75% used up already.
