Summit County Animal Control will have FREE dog food at their next Pet Food Pantry on Monday, November 2!

The event is taking place at 250 Opportunity Parkway from 2:00p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Only dog food this available this month. Cat food and litter will not be offered.

ADOPTED!🏡💗

Smokey just arrived at our facility, and here he is, all snuggled up in a soft blanket. After an unknown amount of time on his own, we hope this little bit of comfort helps him settle in.

If he’s this happy to have a soft blanket and a safe place to rest, imagine how he’d feel waking up in a home of his own with a comfy bed and a family to love and spoil him forever.

He doesn’t even know how good life could be. Let’s find him a home where he can find out!❤

*He will be visiting our vet this week for his neuter/vetting and his skin is being addressed!*

Polly is still available!!🐾

Polly Pocket is looking out her kennel window, waiting for her perfect family to walk through the door. 💗

Every day, she watches her friends leave while she waits… wondering, “Why not me?” 🥺

Polly has so many amazing qualities! She’s chunky, lovable, and deaf, making her the perfect storm & fireworks buddy! 😂💗 We believe she may be completely deaf, although sometimes we swear she has a little selective hearing! 😆 She knows her basic commands and catches on to body language and hand signals (especially if your hand has a treat)!
Polly requires to be the only pet and loves all the attention for herself 😆💗

She’s been waiting long enough. We’d really love to see Polly get her turn. 🐾

Adoptions are just $28 all month long! Every dog goes home spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, and with a current 2026 dog license.

Over a year ago, Shock, his two puppy brothers, and their dad were left tied up outside after their owner left them. Everyone eventually found homes, and Shock did too. Twice. Unfortunately, his first adoption ended because of allergies, and his second family returned him after deciding to keep another dog they found.💔

Poor Shock has spent far too much of his life in a shelter, and he deserves so much better.

He’s a puppy in an adult dog’s body! He’s come a long way with his manners but still has some growing to do. Basic training would be great for him, and a home without very young children would be best for his bouncy, sometimes clumsy personality.

Shock has been in playgroup a few times and has done well, though we’re still learning which dogs are the best fit for him. Most importantly, he’s a very sweet boy who just needs someone willing to give him a chance.

He’s been let down enough. It’s time for Shock to find a family who will love him, help him grow, and never give up on him. Let’s get this boy OUT of the shelter and into the forever home he deserves!❤️
