Hi everyone!! Making a PSA to all my clients or those who have reached out but haven’t booked!

My fiancé and I get married in October of this year! My books will be very much open the rest of this year aside from around those times, just reach out if you believe that may complicate future plans.

In addition to this, we will be moving to Wisconsin March of 2026. In 9 months, we will no longer be in the area for an undetermined amount of time as I will be finishing my Bachelors degree at the University of Wisconsin. I graduate with my Associates this December!

Because of this journey, I will no longer be of service in the SWMO area starting Feb/March next year. I will be choosing an excellent candidate to take over my clients in this area, but will be very picky as to whom. I have a few in mind, however please reach out if you or someone you know may be interested. My clients mean a great deal to me and they only deserve the best!

Thank you ALL for the years of service in the Joplin, MO area. This year marks 12 years of Mary Grace’s Pet Sitting, and I could have never done it without you all booking or referring.

Good afternoon, everyone! Sorry I haven’t updated in a while. Just a few things!

• PRICE INCREASE
I will be updating all my prices shortly! As you all know, prices have jumped for absolutely everything, so I will have a slight price increase as well to keep up with inflation. This goes for owning 3+ pets, extracurriculars (dog walking, extra playtime, etc.) as well as driving distance and how often I go over per day. I will have a firm starting price, but please message me for quotes and other questions!

• GROOMING
I am a groomer trainee for a WONDERFUL boss! That said, I will not be offering any grooming services where hair will have to be cut. I don’t have the supplies, nor am I fully trained or have my own grooming business. I will offer nail trimming services and SOME brushing/combing, but I will have to evaluate the pet first, especially since my service is only consisting of me.

• WEEKENDS
Since I am a groomer trainee, I work during the week. I am off on weekends and am free for pet sitting unless otherwise specified. I am currently located in Webb City and can travel about a 10-15 minute radius for pet sitting. Prices will also slightly increase for longer distances.

• AT HOME SITTING
I only offer boarding at owner’s home. I no longer offer services where I stay the night. I currently live in an apartment along with my boyfriend and two dogs that I must take care of. Under my lease, I am not allowed to bring in any pets to our home. I will make an update if this changes.

• FORMS
I am also considering creating a pet sitting form. This form would include your information, emergency contact, your veterinary care provider, medications, feeding directions, etc. I will update if I do go through with this.

Hey, everyone! I know it’s been a while. Just a little update!! 😀❤️

I’d like to thank you all for trusting and allowing me to take care of many of your fur babies! I also wanted to thank those who recommend me for my services!!

This holiday season, even if short notice, please let me know if you’re going out of town and need someone to watch your babies! That being said, I am off on weekends, but I do work full-time throughout the week. This is just my side job! I also am living in the Webb City area, just outside of Joplin.

Unfortunately, I am unable to do in-home boarding or daycare as I live in an apartment that doesn’t allow pet guests and I could be fined and lease-violated if I broke this rule. However, I am currently able to drive within a 20 minute drive to take care of your babies throughout the day, where they are happy and safe in their own home! Moreover, I currently cannot spend the night, as I have two dogs at home I also care for!

Again, thank you all for your love and support!! Please continue to think of me and recommend me as your dog and cat sitter! ❤️

Hello, everyone!

I’m considering making and selling dog treats soon! As you all know, I’ve worked with animals a majority of my life and I LOVE doing it. That said, I know most treats and food that is out there can be either very harmful or excessively expensive. You don’t necessarily know what you’re feeding your pet.

Because of this, I’m going to try and start making my own dog treats made of natural products without harmful preservatives! Please let me know if any of you have experience with this! I’d love to learn more as I go!

It’s that time of the year again! Lots of people make the same post, but it really needs to be well known!

Make sure you know if your animals are afraid of fireworks! If your animal is very scared or nervous, wrap a t-shirt, scarf, or something somewhat tight around them. This usually gives off a calming effect like a Thundershirt. Also, make sure to keep your animals inside to avoid being hurt or running off. They will be and feel a lot safer indoors. Many veterinarians can also prescribe medication to relax animals during times like this. You can also purchase some over-the-counter relaxation methods. If anyone has any other suggestions, feel free to comment!

Summer has also arrived! Make sure your animals are on preventatives. Even a flea collar will do some good. Fleas and ticks are VERY harmful to your pet’s health. As a dog groomer and kennel tech, I’ve seen way too many animals hurt and in terrible situations due to lack of prevention products. Even if you are using preventatives, your neighbors may not. You can purchase flea and tick prevention wipes at Petsmart for only $10. This will keep fleas and ticks from even wanting to jump on your pet before the preventatives kick in! Think about your pet and other’s pets. Many animals have very awful allergic relations to flea bites, which can create hair loss, wounds, and skin irritation.

Hello everyone!
I just figured I’d let you know what kind of grooming I’m currently able to do, as I have gotten a couple people asking.
I currently don’t have clippers, but I am getting some very soon. I can do nail trims, bathing, de-shedding, and some feet and face trimming depending on the dog.
