Meet Dr. Regina Downey

Dr. Downey has been a dedicated practicing veterinarian since 1983, beginning her distinguished career in rural Virginia. She later relocated to Massachusetts, where in 1990 she founded the Coastal Animal Clinic in Salisbury. The hallmark practice quickly set itself apart in the region for its compassionate, high-quality patient care. Most recently, after successfully operating a practice in New Hampshire, Dr. Downey sold her business to relocate to her home in Aiken, South Carolina, where she happily joined the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA) Veterinary Services team.

An expert in integrative medicine, Dr. Downey holds an extensive array of advanced holistic certifications, including:

*Veterinary Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Therapy, Tui Na, & Veterinary Medical Manipulation (Chi University)

🇺🇸 In observance of Memorial Day, CSRA Veterinary Services will be CLOSED on Monday, May 25th. 🇺🇸
As we take this time to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, our clinic will be taking a pause so our staff can spend the holiday with their families.

🐾 Emergency Reminder: If your pet experiences a medical emergency while we are closed, please contact your closest urgent care veterinary office or emergency veterinary hospital.
We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday. Have a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend!

Ziva was found!!!!!! Thank You all for helping this baby find her way home.. She had a VERY rough 2 weeks, she was hit by a car and lost 1/2 of her body weight. She did go to CVETS in Columbia to have Surgery on her broken pelvis and is now back home recovering with her family.
She will be wearing an "Air Tag" from now on.. Again thank you for all of the support and help in finding Ziva!!
