It doesn't always feel accessible or available for us to be tended to and held by another human.

Our guards, our past, our wounds, can get triggered, and perhaps we don't have the people in our life that we feel can hold us.

No one is meant to walk the journey alone, and in a world where it is not always easy to seek out the space of another and let ourselves be tended to, the horse is there to hold it.

A being that doesn't judge, that simply stands and witnesses, that creates a space for us to be held, is a deep medicine that we all need.

When we are the holders of much, and we can't always feel the safety of being in our vulnerability, we can receive that space by a horse that recognizes, and responds to what we need.

And then we can allow ourselves to receive it.

When we are overburdened, and cannot resource in ourselves, and we need a space to tend to us so we can replenish and recover ourselves, this is where we can be supported.

We don't not need to speak, or share, we just get to be held and witnessed and in that simplicity and power of that space, we find the spaces in ourselves that need to be mended and held come together.
