We are absolutely thrilled to say that Cory has been ADOPTED! 🐾💙🎉

We pulled Cory from a high-intake shelter when he was just a tiny puppy, hoping someone would look past the kennel door and see the sweet, lovable boy we saw in him. But Cory waited. And waited.

He spent 142 days in our care, often overlooked while other dogs found their homes. Some animals find their families almost immediately, and others, like Cory, need a little more time.

We consider ourselves a revolving door for animals in need, but some dogs become long-term residents, and Cory was one of them.
He was an incredibly loving and affectionate pup, dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and simply waiting for someone to see just how special he was. ❤️
And then, finally, someone did.

Sometimes a dog’s forever home isn’t close by. For Cory, it was all the way in Miami, Florida!

With the help of our incredible volunteer team, Cory safely boarded a flight and was flown right into his forever. ✈️💙 We couldn’t be happier knowing that after 142 days of waiting, this sweet boy is exactly where he belongs.

Stories like Cory’s are why rescue matters. Some animals require more time, more care, more resources, and more people willing to stand beside them until their moment comes. We are here every step of the way.
