Watch for subtle signs:
• Slowing down
• Trouble jumping or using stairs
• Sleeping more
• Less interest in play
• Avoiding touch
• Excessive licking
• Changes in appetite or behavior

Meet our beautiful little friends, Petra & Rauroa! 🐱🐱💕

These fluffy littermates are almost 2 months old, and we couldn’t resist showing them off! Between those gorgeous coats, big curious eyes, and sweet little faces, these two had us completely smitten. 🥹

They may be tiny, but they’ve already mastered the art of stealing hearts. 💕 We can’t wait to watch these beautiful babies grow!

🍁 PARASITES DON’T “FALL” OFF THE MAP! 🐾

The leaves may be falling, but fleas, ticks, heartworms, and intestinal parasites aren’t going anywhere just because summer is over!

Cooler temperatures can give us a false sense of security, but parasites can remain a threat throughout the fall — and some can survive indoors or stay active during surprisingly chilly weather.

🕷️ Ticks can remain active on cool fall days.
🦟 Mosquitoes can stick around until a hard freeze, meaning heartworm risk doesn’t disappear when summer ends.
🐜 Fleas love warm homes and can become an indoor problem all winter long.
🪱 Intestinal parasites can be picked up from contaminated soil, f***s, wildlife, and other animals year-round.

That’s why we recommend keeping pets on consistent, year-round parasite prevention. ❤️

🍂 Fall leaves? Absolutely.
🍂 Fall sweaters? Definitely.
🚫 Falling off your pet’s preventatives? Not so much.

✨ SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Mosi & Bella ✨

Age is nothing but a number… and these two beautiful ladies have 32 years of combined experience running the show! 👑🐾

🐱 Mosi is a gorgeous 16-year-old dilute calico, and 🐶 Bella is an equally lovely 16-year-old Dachshund. Neither one is letting a little thing like age slow her down!

These sassy seniors still enjoy the finer things in life—being loved, being spoiled, and, most importantly, bossing their family members around. 😂 After 16 years, they’ve certainly earned the right!

Mosi and Bella are the perfect reminder that senior pets still have SO much personality, love, and sass to give. 💛

Here’s to our golden girls and many more days of getting exactly what they want! 🥰🐾

📢 EXCUSE ME, EVERYONE!!! LENNY HAS AN ANNOUNCEMENT!!! 📢

Our tiny man is officially 4 WEEKS OLD and, as you can see, he is absolutely HOLLERING about it. 😂🐱

At four weeks, Lenny’s personality is getting BIGGER by the day. He’s loud, demanding, ridiculously adorable, and becoming more curious about the world around him. And yes… he still takes his meals very seriously. 🍼😂

From the teeny one-day-old baby who came into our care to this sassy little dude with LOTS to say—we’re loving every minute of watching him grow. 💙

HAPPY 4 WEEKS, LENNY! 🎉
No need to tell him… he already announced it to the entire clinic. 📣🤣

🩷 BRAVE PATIENT ALERT: Meet Willow! 🩷

Our sweet friend Willow is a 10-year-old Lab mix who recently came in to have a bladder stone removed — and she was an absolute champ! 🐾💪

🪨 Bladder stones are mineral formations that develop in the urinary bladder and can cause discomfort or difficulty urinating.

Signs to watch for include:
🐾 Frequent or strained urination
🐾 Blood in the urine
🐾 Accidents in the house
🐾 Licking around the urinary area
🐾 Discomfort while urinating

🚨 If your pet is trying to urinate but little to nothing is coming out, seek veterinary care right away — a urinary blockage can be an emergency.

Treatment and prevention depend on the type of stone, making testing and follow-up care important.
