🚨 KRONK NEEDS OUT & WE NEED YOUR HELP. 🚨
Not because he’s a bad dog. Not because he’s unlovable. But because shelter life is breaking down a dog who has SO much potential. 💔
💚 Meet Kronk. 🐾
He’s a 1½-year-old, neutered, mixed-breed boy with a big personality, a whole lot of love to give, and some quirks that make him uniquely Kronk.
But here’s the part we really need you to hear…
Kronk is struggling.
The kennel environment is taking a toll on him. He experiences kennel stress and struggles with barriers and confinement. The longer he’s here, the harder it becomes for him to show people the incredible dog we know he can be.
And that’s the heartbreaking part.
Because underneath that frustration is a smart, goofy, affectionate boy who just needs someone willing to understand him.
We’re not looking for just ANY home for Kronk. We’re looking for HIS home. ❤️
🏡 Kronk’s dream home looks a little different:
🐾 An only-dog household to start. Kronk genuinely loves other dogs, but we believe he’d benefit from being the center of someone’s world while he decompresses and settles into a routine.
🐾 A human who’s around A LOT. Someone who works from home, can bring their dog to work, or has a lifestyle that allows Kronk to be their little shadow.
🐾 Freedom to move. Kronk would thrive in a home where he can safely roam without excessive confinement or barriers that trigger his frustration.
🐾 A job for that big brain. He’s a working-style dog who needs mental stimulation, enrichment, walks, and someone who enjoys keeping an intelligent dog busy.
🐾 A couch. Because after a day of using that big brain and stretching those legs, this boy deserves somewhere soft to crash with his favorite person.
Kronk doesn’t need perfection. He needs patience, consistency, understanding, and someone willing to love ALL of him.
The goofy parts. The smart parts. The stubborn parts. Even the parts that need a little extra work.
We’re not going to sugarcoat his needs to get him adopted. That wouldn’t be fair to Kronk or his future family.
But we’re also not going to let his struggles in a kennel define who he is.
He is SO much more than what you see behind those kennel doors.
Some dogs can wait patiently in a shelter until their person comes along.
Kronk is telling us, in every way he knows how, that he needs something different.
And we’re listening.
