🥹🩵 There's another cutie-pie we have to introduce to the CAIOPC pack... Smokey! 🩵🥹

This little guy was such a joy to have around for each of his sleepovers, so let's skip the formalities and jump into some fun facts about him 'cause I can't wait any longer!!!! 🤩

✨Smokey is a ladies man! 😏 He didn't get just 1 girlfriend here... but TWO! 🐶🐶 Lizzie (Corgi) and him were inseparable from the moment they saw each others tails wag! 🥲 Whether it was playing, snoozin', or sunbathin', you'd see them side by side, enjoying their doggy life together! 😙 Then his 2nd sleepover is when he met girlfriend #2, Ms. Gigi (French Bulldog)! They were all about the zoomies, fetching, and wrestling, 🤪 and if Smokey saw G's eyes start to wander, he would quickly remind her that he is her one and only, and vice versa! 😅

✨His side-gig is being a ballerina! 🩰 He LOVED standing on his hind legs, and occasionally did twirls and jumps with it to really show off his skills! 🕺

✨Both times he came to our house, he got to be with his cousin, Sheldon (who we featured back in March) - those floofs are a HOOT when together! 😆Such personalities in tiny little bodies, but we are here for it! 😍

✨Smokey was a sucker for anything Chuck-It, but he also enjoyed finding toys bigger than him and carrying (or more like dragging) them all the way across the yard for us to throw again! 🙃😂 His determination is something I envy! 🤣

✨And when the day of adventures & fun was coming to an end, we could count on him to be our #1 snuggle-buddy! 🤗

Smokey is such a precious boy who brought all the love, smiles, and laughs! 🥰 We have been missing him every day since he left and hope his mom & dad go on vacation again so we can reunite with their little sweetheart, and so maybe he can get to working on a 3rd girlfriend, too! 🤣

👋🤩 Please help us welcome 2 absolute cuties to the CAIOPC pack... Daisy & Duke! 🤩👋

They say Bully breeds keep you on your toes 🫣... and I think we can confidently agree with that after spending time with these silly, energetic cuties! 🤪

Daisy is a strong, playful lady! 💪 I think, in total, I won maybe 3 rounds out of our 25+ games! 🤣 Jaws of steel, I tell ya - and yes, maybe I have a Popeye arm now! 🙃 Thankfully, she realized she was dealing with a "weakling" 🤓, so we were able to resort to lots of fetch instead (I, and my muscles, thanked her)! 🙏😅 When she wasn't trackin' steps in the yard, she was playing with a ball inside 🥎 - but, that "go, go, go" type personality still has a battery life, and when she crashed, she CRASHED - and of course, Dominic got to soak up those cuddles after all my hard work! 😴😆

Duke is full of life, and full of speed! 🏎️ This goofy boy will be completely chill 1 second, and then zoomin' circles around us the next! 😂😵‍💫 Occasionally he would entertain some WWE matches with his sister 🤼, but for the most part, he seemed to have the most fun occupying himself - which was a good thing because Daisy's goal was to have my arm fall off with fetch anyway! 🤣🤷‍♀️ When inside, he definitely had an "off" switch and went straight into snuggle mode! 🤗 If you even thought about ending the butt rubs, or body pets, he would give you that ASPCA dog commercial look like "Love me... choose me...". 🥹 We're suckers for that! 😅

To say our time with them was fun and full of laughs would be an understatement! 🥰 The psycho ones always keep your day interesting, and make you feel like a kid again - just enjoying the simple things, treating everything in life as an exciting adventure, and never seeming to have a bad day! 🥲

We are anxiously counting down the days until we get to reunite with them at the end of this month!!!! Bring on the crazy, we're ready for it! We love you both so much! 💛🐾

🪽🤍 Rex, you will never be forgotten, and will forever be in our hearts... especially Taz's. 🤍🪽

Unfortunately, this handsome boy crossed the rainbow bridge back in June. 🌈 Our hearts are still aching from such a huge loss, and we miss him deeply. 💔 This is when I wish dogs could understand English, fully - how do I communicate to Taz that he won't be able to reunite with his sunbathin' buddy, his "twin who lost his stripes", his "woooo-wooo" backup singer, and his best friend...? 🥺

Although we are sad, we want to honor the time we had with him and give this precious, smiley boy one last feature of his recent stays with us that I never got around to posting. 💛

A few of our favorite things about him will be below. 🥹

🌠We have the same exact round couch that his parents do at home, and on his first ever sleepover, his eyes lit up, and deemed that his spot, naturally - truly a "home away from home" for him! 🛋️
🌠Sleeping on the furniture the "right way" was too mainstream, so you'd catch him spinning around in circles (I kid you not) 56 times until he finally settled in his usual position... facing the back of the couch! 🤣
🌠Rex & Taz were the patrolin' hounds here 🚨 - every morning & evening, they would do their rounds to ensure all the smells were sniffed, and no "wildlife intruders" entered - and when they were "off the clock", they would both retreat to the deck for some sunshine soakin'! ☀️
🌠"Now you see his food, now you don't" was the theme for us every meal! 🪄 I don't think this dude ever tasted a single kibble - it would all be gone within 2min... even that might be too generous! 😂
🌠Dominic loved the fact that Rex was his hat model! It was Dominic's goal to get him to wear a new hat every sleepover - pictures of those are in prior posts; it's worth the scroll to find them! 😍
🌠And we were over the moon that we could have our cats upstairs anytime he came over! Since he had one at home, he knew they weren't anything to be concerned with! 🐈

All this to say... let's remember him for the goodest boy he was: full of life, bork borks, and treats too! We will love you in every lifetime, bud and we will meet again. 💛🐾

🖤😻 Meet another new purrr-fect member of the CAIOPC pack... Angel! 😻🖤

Do you notice the white heart on her chest? 🤍 If that doesn't give you an indication of how sweet she is (literally "bursting at the fur" with love), I don't know what will! 🥹

Truly this girl is not your typical cat! She welcomes all the love, snuggles, pets, and attention 24/7! 🤗 Every time we come to visit, she greets us with the cutest little meows 🥰 - although, I am not so sure it is a "hello, I missed you so much", rather "hello, let me show you where my food bowl is in case you forgot..."! 😂After we have tended to the highest priority (her auto-feeder), she is ready for her brushing session & good kitty treats! 🪮🐟 Angel isn't all about the toy-playing, as that takes away from being admired, and having hands that are not occupied appropriately in her eyes! 😅 Occasionally, we will finish with a Churu packet (oh how she loves those 🤩), but other than that, our time together is fairly simple, and full of purrs! 🫠

So excited to see you later today, little one! We love you so much! 💛🐾

🫠😙 Are you as happy as we are to see these cute, flooooofy faces again?! 😙🫠

Anytime we have Scylla & Huxie on the schedule, my heart soars! 😍 Since it has been a while since we last featured them, let's go over some refreshers about the Golden Duo! 😁

🐾Scylla (pronounced Sill-uh) is a bunny disguised as a dog... or somedays, maybe she's actually a horse! 🤣 This girl LOVES to gallop and hop about the yard, ESPECIALLY in a Winter Wonderland! ☃️❄️ The outdoors is her favorite place to be, whether it involves wrestling her brother 🤼, taste testing grass until I catch her 🤦‍♀️, lounging in the sunshine ☀️, or filling the yard with all the snowy paw prints! 🥹 When inside, she enjoys bone chewin' until she deems it's snuggle time by flopping her wholeeeee body onto me! 😅

🐾Huxie is the calm sibling of the two, but he's still got some of that happy-go-lucky puppy energy, so don't let him fool you! 🤪 He takes pride in winning every WWE match his sister starts 🥇, carrying his "baby" around (which is whatever toy he deems his comfort that day) 🥲🧸, reminding Scylla that the bones aren't alllllll hers and making sure he gets the best ones first 😂, kindly giving me (not so subtle) cues that it's time for a good boy treat (or 2 🤣)and being the best snuggle buddy at bedtime! 🤗

Whenever I get the honor to have a sleepover with these sweethearts, I leave with my heart feeling full 🥰, and abs feeling sore (I SHOULD have a 6-pack at this point because of them but... pizza does me dirty 🤣)! As always, I am anxiously counting down the days until we get to reunite again - we have something on the calendar, so you all will get to see their adorable faces again too, don't worry!

👑🪄 Please say hi to your pup's BFF, the Queen herself, that you all must know by now... Nova! 🪄👑

Truly, it would have taken me AGES to find pictures of Nova with all of her friends 🙃... this girl has met almost every single pup that has slept over at our house or come for a Daycation the last 3 years! 😍 So, if you don't see your cutie, or have a different one that is your favorite of Nova and yours together, feel free to post a picture in the comment section below for her mom & dad to see (this feature of commenting pictures will be allowed until tomorrow's post)! 🥹📸

We feel fortunate we have been in her life since she was 3 months old! 👶Let me tell ya, she has grown into a spunky, sassy, spotty little diva, but her heart is as big as her personality, so life always feel full with her around! 🥰

⭐She loves to ensure she smells like "nature" with alllllll the grass rollin'! 🤪
⭐"Come get me" is her favorite game to play with friends! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
⭐ASPCA dog alert - she tries to convince her mom & dad we didn't feed her dinner, provide water the entire day, and lit all the toys on fire to eliminate any potential fun. 🤦‍♀️
⭐She lives the "non-committal" life by having 20+ boyfriends - her parents & I have lost count at this point! 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕+
⭐Showing off is one of her many strengths 💃- that could be catching a treat mid-air 🥇, showing how fast she is 🏎️, or giving each new friend a tour of all the best sniff spots, and the "prime" toys to play with, and bones to chew on! 😁
⭐Her mission every day is to make it look like Petco threw up in our living room by tipping over both our indoor toy bins and pulling out each bone one by one! 🦴🧸
⭐And when her tank is FINALLY empty... she finally veers into the slow lane by sunbathing with Taz or sprawling out on our oversized dog bed in the living room to recharge! 😴🤲🙏

There is SO much more we could say about this goofy little lady, but I think the above pretty much sums her up in a nutshell! 🤣 She is one of the sweetest girls, who everyone gets along with, and loves having the title of our "Star Daycation Pup"! We love you so fluffin' much, Nova! Can't wait to see you next week! 💛🐾

🥳🐾 Friday Feature for another new goofy girl that joined the CAIOPC pack earlier this year... Ember! 🐾🥳

This is the first post of 2 we will be making about her cute self as she slept over by us another time after this! 🤩

What a FUR-tastic way to kick off her first Boarding 🥰... arriving on Taz's birthday and getting cake 🎂, being able to play with new toys that no other pup had yet 🧸, AND having all the fun in a fresh snowfall?! ☃️ As you can see, she was cheesin' the whole way through! 🙃 Needless to say, all that plus making new friends 🐕, fetchin' all the balls 🥎, and getting a "fresh blow-out" from the high winds 🤪, she was always ready to warm up with some snuggles on the recliner every single night (or anytime we went inside, really 😂🤗) and snooze the hours away! Truly one of the sweetest girls we have met that has so much love to give! 🥹 She was our little shadow, and made sure we never felt alone - and yes, sometimes even in the bathroom! 😇😅

I cannot WAIT to show you the other pictures of her in our next post about Ember's other sleepover with us - she came out of her shell even more, and we didn't know there was a higher level of silly in her still! 😂

We are anxiously counting down until we get to reunite with the biggest cuddlebug in the whole county! We miss and love you, Ember! Until next time! 💛🐾

There's another new member we have to introduce to our CAIOPC pack, Scooter! 😍 But wait... you might also see a face in this post that looks familiar because we have featured him before... his brother, Milo! 🥰

We got to meet Scooter (aka Scooty, Scoots, Scooty Tooty, T***s Magoo) within days of him being welcomed into his forever home! 🥹 Watching this boy sprout like a w**d has been a bittersweet experience, but rewarding nonetheless! 💛 He is your typical Bernese Mountain Dog... a 100% purebred goofy goober! 🤣 When he isn't working on his strange "yoga" sleeping poses 🧘‍♀️, he is requesting hose water 💧, chasing balls ⚽, tugging toys 🧸, wrestling friends 🤼, attempting professional diver status in the pool 🥇, exploring the world of "tunnels" 🫣, or snoring so loud that I am sure the whole town knows he played hard, and is gonna sleep harder! 😴😅

And Milo has been my main squeeze since the first day I slept over at his house! 🤗 Between our snuggle sessions 🫶, good boy treats 🦴, walks 🚶‍♀️, Netflix binging 📺, and bedtime chats, my heart was overflowing with love! 🫠 Although he was a bit unsure sharing his people with a little Scoot Scoot, he came around quick and is now his brother's littler shadow! 👤 For example, when the boys come to our house for a longer stay, and we are giving Scooter a bath... Milo just stands by the gate, dead stare at the hallway entrance, not wavering until he locks eyes with his live-in best friend again! 🥲 It's so stinkin' CUTE! I also think Scooty brought out the energy in Milo too 🤪, cause let me tell ya... this boy can zoom 🏎️, jump so high he should be in the Olympics 🤯, and definitely has the title of "pro-wrestler" in the family! 😂

These pictures are just a glimpse of the care we provided the 1st half of the year with the exception of the 2 baby Scoots pictures from last year 🐕 (I easily had over 100... and the struggle was REAL choosing my faves 😫)! That said, be prepared, because we have seen them quite a few times since then (including right now), so another post will be underway! 🤩

We love you so much, boys! Can't imagine a world without you 2 by our side! 💛🐾

👋🐈 Please help us welcome 2 purrr-fect kitties to the CAIOPC pack... Possum & Fritz! 🐈👋

Fun fact: This is OUR sitter's cats! 🤯 When we go out of town, she cares for our babies, and we are so fortunate to have her in our lives, but even more grateful that we got to be spoiled by their crew earlier this year! 🥳 My husband, Dominic, was the one that got to have a slumber party with these cuties, and let me tell you... I was green with envy... DARK green! 🤣

The reason we were booked for Overnights compared to just visits is because Possum & Fritz thrive on their human snuggle-time & general companionship throughout the day & night - they live for their people! 🥹🥰 That said, our time with them did not disappoint! 😍

Possum is the more independent gal of the 2 as she was a stray before becoming her parents pride and joy! 😇 Little story behind her is that she wandered into their yard, they got her checked out & up to date on vaccinations, she went on an adventure in the woods soon after, and then came back PREGNANT! 🤰 Yep! Fritz is actually her son! 👶 The parents helped with the birthing of the litter, and cared for them until they set off to their new homes, but decided to keep Fritz for their sake, and Possum's! Doesn't that just melt your heart?! 🥲😭💛

Fritz, being a house kitty from birth, is more of your typical cat, but also not! 😅 He is incredibly affectionate 😙, loves to lounge on his cat perches for a good snooze with a side of nature watching 🐦, enjoys allllll the motorized cat toys 🤪, and being everyone's "helper" while they do everything - including getting ready in the morning! 🤣 He also thoroughly enjoyed going down to their parents shop with Possum & Dominic as they are used to that routine on the daily!

It was a time filled with lots of snuggles 🤗, TV show catchups 📺, belly rubs 🙃, and bedtime chats! 😴 A home away from home for us, and we can't wait until the next time we get to go back! We love you, Possum & Fritz! 💛🐾

🔦🤩 These 5 cuties haven't gotten a feature in quite some time, and we see them multiple times a month... so let's finally turn that spotlight on again for Gracie, Bobo, Thor, Peanut, and Stella! 🤩🔦

I call this pack my "smile crew" (or the wiggle butts) 😁, because that is exactly what they do every time they see me walk through the door! They have SO much love to give, and I am very lucky for it! 🥰

Gracie is a goofy, but smart gal! 🤓 Whether it's having zoomies in the yard 🤪, sitting on the recliner like a human 🛋️, p**ping 2x because "double the treats" (duh 😂), or doing cute little spins (probably to get a 3rd treat 🤦‍♀️), she always knows how to make my heart melt! 🫠

Bobo is a chill boy who loves the simple things! 🧘‍♂️That could be lounging in the sun (until he starts to bake like a meatloaf 🍖... then bring on the shade 🥵), finding ALL the beset spots in the yard to roll around because smelling like "nature" is fun 😆🌳, or attaching to my hip, flashing those puppy dog eyes, because he sniffs out the treats in my pocket! Being a dog is "exhausting", right?! 🙃

Thor is my floooofy BFF! 😍 He is always requesting pets, butt scratches, belly rubs... basically, anything that ensures my hands are not idle! 🤣🫡 His favorite thing to do is trot to the other end of the yard, and wait for me to call his name so he can run to me for the cuuuutest pictures for mom & dad 📸🐕, and to rest "sideways" against the couch (picture in post for context)! 😅

Peanut would be the "West Coast" lady of the bunch 😎 - the sunshine & heat are her best friends ☀️, and the second it drops below 88 degrees, she is shivering - so dramatic! 🤣 She loves our snuggles, to be held, and to get in her sniffs (after her siblings get their crazy out, that is) 🤗, but don't let that "calm" fool you... cause her "neighborhood watch" cap is always on 🧐🚨, and she is not afraid to make herself heard!

Stella is a Golden Retriever in a Corgi's body! 😋 She is the happiest camper I have ever met, and you'd never know if she was having a tough day! Seeing her be so excited about life, in every season, is grounding to say the least! 🥹 Some of her favorite things are snow (specifically piles about the height of her 🤣) ❄️, getting "grass zoomies" 😵‍💫, making it her mission to not p**p in hopes I don't leave 💩, and competing for more belly rubs than Thor at every turn! 😅

Whether I am having a bad day, week, or month... these babies never fail to brighten up my mood from the moment we start our hello pets, until we get to the unfortunate part of "see you later's". 🥲 I can't imagine a life without the bond we share, and I am forever grateful to have them a part of my days! We love you so much, sunshines! ☀️💛🐾
