Beautiful day! It’s been almost a year since we purchased the place. A lot of changes and one of the biggest has been working to clean up the pastures. It’s not perfect (yet), however, we did remove 50 tandem axel loads of mud, dirt and manure. So much buildup. We’ve been leveling out the ground and working to create pathways for water so we don’t have swimming pools. It’s paying off too! Yes, we have mud after these rainy days, but it’s nothing compared to before. The ground will freeze up soon enough and next spring we’ll have grass with the help of fencing to allow it to grow.

Behind the scenes, we are working to get two additional hay feeders out and….RUN INS! We’re very excited about the next phase. We wish we could do it sooner but there’s a ton of little things that we’ve been addressing so that the outcome is of the quality our horses deserve.

We treat our boarders just like our own and thank you for your patience as we work daily to create the facility we envision.

So fortunate to witness one of our favorite couples get married today. While this adventure of being horse boarding owners has come with challenges we have been blessed with solid friendships that we feel so lucky to have and without this place we might never have crossed paths. Our wonderful Crockett has a nice new family ❤️🐴 Jamison Porter and congratulations!!!!! We are beyond excited for you and can’t wait to see where this universe takes you ❤️

Entering into Autumn at T3R. We’ve come a long way in the last 11 months being here. Ups and downs, lessons learned. Growth is never linear and horses like to remind us of that. We have plans in place such as new and improved fencing, a few Maple Trees to line the driveway, new pastures, more hay feeders, improved stall floors with mats and more.

Winter will be here soon so we hope you are able to spend some time at the barn while the weather is comfortable 🎃🍂🍁

The West Wing gets so hot, humid and stuffy. Thankfully the horses now have fans!

We purchased agricultural grade fans that have a closed motor to help avoid any issues with potential fire. We also have them hooked to the lights so one flip of the switch does it all. They are staggered down the aisle to help push the air through. Felt pretty nice in there! The West Wing is fairly closed off except the two doors while the rest of the barn has better air flow with the windows. We are planning to place a few more strategically through the center aisle as well. Baby steps that feel pretty big. All to make the horses more comfortable while in our care.

Smoothie is finally at home with her family! Thank you Jana LeClaire and Karen LeClaire for allowing us the opportunity to care for such a sweet and special girl. The pictures you shared are beautiful and check out the rainbow in the background that welcomed her home!

It’s such a bittersweet feeling as we love our boarders like they’re our own. While saddened to say goodbye we feel so fortunate to build the relationships we have. The LeClaire family has been patient and kind as we have settled in. Smoothie is greatly missed, but we’re so happy she is now right next door to her family. They have built a beautiful home for her ❤️

We completed two of the hay feeders and set them out for the horses to explore. So far they’re happy with them. Each herd will get additional feeders as overly excited mares had a bit of a disagreement over who should get to it first. We placed extra hay in the pasture to offset the feisty ladies until the 2nd one arrives.

It’s a great feeling to watch them explore and for us to see even small steps in the right direction. Thank you for supporting us!
