We have so many new games to share with you. Problem solving challenges and games that require strong communication do so much more for dogs and the training relationship than practicing the same skills every time.

Here's an easy exercise you can try with your dog right now.

Spin in heel position:

Your dog spins and returns to your side. Does your dog end up back at your side after the spin?

They know how to make weekends fun.

We had so much fun in Trickovation on Friday followed by busy Saturday classes.

Keep up the amazing work!

We will see everyone back in the grooming salon and in training classes next week.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend! ⭐

We absolutely love scent training, and there has been a lot of it happening this week and last week.

Coming this month, we have an Introduction to scent training workshop. Find out if your dog enjoys searching, learn how to move and hold the leash during a search, start teaching your dog how to indicate (tell you that an odor was found), and have fun!

You can use any class pass package for the workshop, or purchase a single visit pass.

Obedience training should never be boring.

We love adding new games and challenges into all of the classes. Not only does this keep things interesting, it allows us to see if the dogs are learning and following clear cues instead of repeating the same patterns.

Real life training is not predictable. Classes shouldn't be either. No two lesson plans are the same around here.

🎓 Congratulations to Koda for graduating Adolescent Dog Training.

Could your dog use a bath and brush out before their next full groom? We have a spot for them this Tuesday.

On Tuesday, September 29, bath packages are half off at MJ’s Pet Training Academy. The package includes a bath, blow dry, brush out, nail trim, and ear cleaning. Trimming, clipping, and dematting are not included.

Prices vary by your dog’s size and coat type. We’ll take 50% off your dog’s bath package price at checkout.

Appointments are required, and your dog must have a current rabies certificate on file with us. To claim the special, fill out the contact form at the link. We’ll reach out with an appointment time for Tuesday. Appointment spots are limited.

On the contact page on our website, select, “Claim."
