I run a breeding program where I don’t actually keep most of my dogs.
And yes… that confuses people.
Here’s why tonight actually matters.
After over a year of rebuilding everything from the ground up, every single dog in my program is now living in a home.
Not waiting.
Not rotating.
Not sitting in a kennel.
In homes. On couches. Part of families.
Exactly how I believe it should be.
I’ve been doing this since 2012.
My mom built an incredible program for over 20 years and over 12 years I built mine alongside hers. Different space, different name, different vision. I didn’t need my own platform back then because hers already had the traffic. I focused on the dogs, the pairings, the people, and what I wanted this to become.
About a year ago, I stepped fully into my own.
And instead of just continuing what already worked, I changed everything.
I stepped back and asked myself
what do I actually want this to look like
No holding dogs just in case
No bottlenecks
No overbuilding and figuring it out later
Just structure. Timing. Purpose.
So I built out a real guardian program
not loosely
not halfway
Where dogs live real lives and are still part of something bigger.
And tonight, we hit that point.
Every dog placed.
Living in homes, not waiting on me to decide what happens next.
Even my newest male, Guinness, and Boston are part of that same standard. Living real, everyday life, not sitting on standby.
That matters more than anything.
But this didn’t happen because of me alone.
It happened because people trusted something that looks very different from the outside.
Families opened their homes
Guardians leaned in and stayed committed
People listened to me explain this over and over again
Some of you asked questions, followed along, supported, even if you didn’t move forward
All of it mattered.
And honestly… thank you.
