We have an ask of our friends and supporters!! 📣 We need you to share, share, share!!

Henry really needs everyone’s help. He has finished his board and train and is waiting at the kennel for a foster or forever home. It’s really time for him to be comfy in a home with his people.

Henry is a 3 year old Cocker Spaniel. He came to us after he was removed from a domestic abuse situation at his home.

He is the SWEETEST boy. He loves hugs and snuggles. He will try to fit his entire body into your lap and lay his head on your chest. He is so desperate for a family to love.

He comes with some “stuff” that we’ve been addressing. He has resource guarding over his toys which can be managed by not having any toys around, he simply doesn’t need them. Because of this, he should not live with children.

He loves other dogs - he really gets along with mild mannered, mellow pups who are not in his face.

He is a bit fearful of men but he can get over it with time, patience and trust. It’s not a dealbreaker but his home must be committed to giving him time to work through it.

Please please share!! He is a handsome, healthy, young boy whose life is just beginning. A little structure and a lot of love will do him wonders!!

Introducing Sherry & Charlotte !

Sherry ( Tiger)is so loving and playful. She is very food motivated
Give some treats when you first meet her and she will greet you every time you walk in the room. Sherry is very curious about other animals but may be a little apprehensive with large dogs initially but it’s easy to see she wants to interact !

Charlotte( orange )is a beautiful kitten with a deep, loud purr. She is very timid but once she is used to you she will come snuggle and relax you with her purrs. She is very active first thing in the morning and then again in the evening. She spends most of the afternoon out of sight.Charlotte is more reserved but she observes Sherry at play and will eventually join in . Charlotte has no interest in meeting other animals(will hide) at this time but with consistent , brief periods of supervised exposure that will likely change . They are currently in foster care with meet and greets scheduled with an approved application .

Bully needs an urgent foster or adopter!! 🚨

Bully is an 8 year old English Bulldog. His owner left him with his older father who is unable to care for him long term.

Bully was introduced to us as feeling pretty crummy. He went to the vet and they believe he has Cushings disease. While it’s not the best news, it’s also something that can be managed and this sweet boy can live a normal, happy life.

The vet advised that Bully be placed in a home that is savvy with Cushings or at least with administering medication and monitoring him in the beginning of treatment so that means we need a home ASAP that can help.

Bully is good with other dogs with slow introductions. He has lived with a cat but did chase, not to cause harm but could be stressful for certain cats. He is great with all people!

He is a lazy boy who will need minimal exercise and likes to play with toys outside. He’s not destructive and has no resource guarding. All he needs is yummy food, a safe home and lots of love!

While in foster, CARE Southcoast will pay for all medical bills!!

Introducing Finn !
This affectionate , playful and handsome boy is about 6 months old and ready to meet his forever family or person . It’s believed he can either be the only pet in the home or maybe do well with another cat . He loves attention from his foster mom but not really a fan of being picked up and held . Up until just over a month ago he was on his own outside depending on nice folks to feed him. Being a smart little one he decided to set up camp in their yard . Once they saw how sweet he was they reached out for our help in getting him to safety . He’s done well in his foster home but is ready for someone to take it from here!

Meet Mrs Beasley !
100% ready to go! She is about a year and an half old and is tiny ! tiny ! tiny ! This sweet petite weighs in at just over 6lbs and will probably remain around there for life. This little Mrs has an incredibly loving and affectionate nature with a soul soothing purr and to top it all off, she’s uniquely “designed” with 4 polydactyl paws ! Mrs Beasley is a very clean girl with immaculate litter box habits and is the type of kitty that once you put her food down she doesn't dive right in . She likes to walk in between your legs to rub up against them ....just her way of saying “ thank you !” Likely to do very well with another non aggressive/chill cat and even a cat friendly dog after a gradual and cautious introduction. Mrs Beasley is currently residing in foster care with visits scheduled for approved applicants . She can’t wait to meet and charm you so submit those applications !

We are especially looking for help during these shifts:

👉 Wednesday nights
👉 Friday nights
