5yo, heavy b***d 15.2h Belgian/quarter cross mare. Fresh 60 days of tuning and is riding soft, and eager to please. Still in training and continues to progress. Side pass, shoulder/hindquarter yield progression with a nice stop and back. Extensive ground work training, she spent 6 months earlier this year to prep to join a therapeutic riding program for children with disabilities but it was decided she wouldn’t be ready quick enough and with winter coming in the program would like to see her in a more suitable home sooner than later. More experienced home preferred, she is not finished but is kind and could easily be your next husband/kid/lesson horse in time or fancy her up some more and options are endless. She has great ground manners, ties/bathes/good for the farrier.

Yesterday was a good day in horse show world, good friends, great group of competitors, horses behaved better than ever and my kid got to take Pearl for a spin for the first time. No one else has ridden her so it was really special Lily got to be the next. What a great little newly 4 year old to go straight from showing to packing my kid around a warm up pen 🥰

We didn’t place as well as last show but we earned some points.
2nd in Ranch Riding
2nd in Ranch Reining
3rd in Ranch Rail
5th in Ranch Trail

One more show this season on June 5th 😬
So thankful for my friends and to of met all the people I have the last two seasons showing, last year was my first year back after my accident and I couldn’t of asked for better people to be around. Such a rewarding feeling to ride with kind, great people and great horsemen/horsewomen.
And a big thanks to Hidha Hi Desert Horsemen's Association for another well run show!

Next on the update list is I’m officially accepting client horses again on a qualified bases!

Welcome Aiden to the FTGU roster!
He’s an approximately 10-11 year old, fresian cross. And a hermaphrodite 😬
(Female and male anatomy but he hormonally relates more to a stallion)
Spent a majority of his life locked in a stall separated from other horses and unhandled before being rescued. I’ve known him for several years and have always wanted to get my hands on him! His first day was the 2nd of May.

The goals for him are simple, he needs (and deserves!) some basic knowledge, lots of ground work in hopes he can have an easy job of being a safe trail horse and civilized member of society one day!

Lots of firsts for him already! The big ones are he had his first ever trim the other day after a few days of working on touching his legs, he by far exceeded expectations! We finally made flag contact and are starting to move around on the line softly and respectfully. Slowly will start chipping away towards saddle prep to hopefully get some rides on him before the end of the month.

He is very willing and receptive just very defensive/unsure/unconfident, but we can’t wait to see what’ll become of him after a few months!

Back from the dead after successfully completing show #1 of ‘22 and Pearl’s 4yo year 😬

About 5 rides since June of ‘21 on this midget so we weren’t fit or good looking but we managed~

3rd in ranch riding
3rd in ranch reining
3rd in ranch trail
6th in ranch conformation
(Which I’ll add that we don’t usually place in against a full class of horses a whole hand taller+ and twice her weight 🤣🥳)

Lots of homework and schooling to do for the both of us but overall a successful day of point earning, we were even .5 off of winning high point for the day!
