General -- Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm
Adoption Wing -- Tuesday 10am-5pm, Wednesday 11am-7pm, Thursday-Saturday 10am-5pm
Bredel Vet Clinic -- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, and every other Saturday, 8am-5pm
Bed 'N Bark Inn -- Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm, Sunday 8am-2pm
MuttWorks -- Tuesday-Saturday by appt.

Hi! I'm Dave!

I’m a handsome Beagle/Hound mix with a heart as big as my floppy ears! At 40 pounds, I’m the perfect medium-sized companion, big enough for outdoor adventures and small enough to fit right into family life.

I’m a friendly, easygoing guy who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats! My gentle nature and social personality make me a great match for a home with other furry friends or for anyone looking for a loyal companion.

Like many hounds, I love following my nose and exploring the world around me, but I’m just as happy spending quality time with my people. Whether we're going for a walk, relaxing in the yard, or enjoying a cozy evening at home, I’ll be right by your side.

Breakfast is served!

Mornings in the Adoption Wing are full of wagging tails, happy dances, and pups eagerly waiting for their breakfast. But there’s one thing they’re even more excited about than mealtime…finding their forever families! ❤️

Each dog in our care has their own story, but they all share the same dream: a loving home to call their own. From zoomies to cuddle time, these amazing pups are ready to fill your life with love, fun, and plenty of tail wags!

Some of the dogs featured in this video may not be available for adoption just yet, or may be waiting on transport, but every one of them has lots of love to give. 💕

We're excited to share that Skimbleshanks, one of our long-term Cattery residents, and Yeti, an adorable Labrador Retriever mix, have officially found their forever homes! 💙

We couldn’t be happier for these sweet pets and the wonderful adopters who opened their hearts to them. 🥰

Thank you for giving these deserving animals the second chance they’ve been waiting for!

There’s nothing quite like Cattery cuteness! 💕

Our Cattery is full of adorable feline friends who are ready to find their forever families. Some, like sweet senior Simba, have been waiting more than 70 days for a home of their own!

We’ve got a paw-some adoption update to start the day!

Remember Yuma our sweet Akita girl, who waited over 100 days to find her forever family? This sweet girl was adopted in March, and since then she’s been settling into her new home! 🥰

Now known as Umi, she's now living her best life, enjoying car rides, hikes, grooming spa days, and plenty of love from her adopter and human grandma. Most importantly, she's exactly where she belongs, home.

We're so happy to see this deserving girl thriving in her forever home!

One of our favorite programs of the week is Reading Buddies, and it's easy to see why!

Every Wednesday and Thursday from 3–5 PM, young animal lovers join us to read to our adoptable dogs and cats. This calm, cozy time helps our animals become more comfortable around people, builds positive socialization skills, and helps prepare them for life in their forever homes. 🐶🐱

Thanks to the generous support of The Bavis Foundation, participants receive books, snacks, cushions, and even a bookmark to take home. Best of all, if you love the book you read, you can keep it!

Looking for a loyal sidekick, adventure buddy, and cuddle champion? Then it's time to meet Norris! ❤️

Norris is a 4-month-old Labrador Retriever mix puppy with a playful spirit, a curious mind, and a heart full of love. Like any Lab puppy, he's always ready for fun, whether that's chasing toys, exploring the yard, learning something new, or soaking up attention from his favorite people.

This handsome boy approaches every day with a wagging tail and excitement for whatever adventure comes next. At his age, the world is one big playground, and Norris can't wait to discover it all with a family of his own!

As a growing puppy, Norris is still learning the skills he'll need to become an amazing adult dog. He's looking for a family that will help guide him through training, socialization, and all of life's exciting milestones.
